Hi!!, Me and my partner stayed here for a week during October 2016 We arrived around 10pm and were shown to our room which was fine but we couldn't purchase any btl of water at this time(even outside at the garage and restaurant next door) The breakfast was good where they will prepare fresh eggs, pancakes for you on request and there is tea coffee salad bread croissants cereal etc. I was happy with this and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We eat at the poolside for lunch on more than one occasion although they ran out of some ingredients due to the place being so quiet. We even had the pool to ourselves one day and it was never really that busy( this was exactly what we were looking for to de stress and it didn't disappoint. They offer muscular massages within the hotel, I had a back massage twice and was very happy with it and was done in a quiet relaxing environment with candles and relaxing music playing. Although the place is no longer licenced so don't expect to buy any alcohol onsite. Hot water wifi and daily room cleaning are all included and there are large common areas to relax in. Lots of lime and I think fig trees are growing around the premises. Overall a thumbs up👍 You will have to pay local tourist tax on checking out which is around 10dirhams per person per nite.
This was the worst hotel I stayed in after staying in other hotels in Spain and turkey please don't get fooled with the pictures the location of the hotel is good but everything else is really bad. The rooms are very small with really old fashioned air conditioning which gives out warm air with the beds rocky and the showers dirty and no wifi in the rooms. at night time the lights are turned of in the corridors loads of cats mooching around the breakfast was very limited and not good same everyday most of the staff aren't bothered saying it's not there problem they only work here and the reception staff are always trying to make commission on you going on activities through them when it's a lot cheaper outside. We got checked out the hotel at 12 noon when our flight was at 10 at night the hotel was really quiet and loads of spare rooms saying we need to pay extra if we to stay a few hours more and they tried to blame the agency we booked tickets throw. So one last time if you are to enjoy marrkech you don't want to book this place trust me
I am going december to Hotel amine again. For the third timer.hoterl Amine is a very nice hotel, where i feel myself welcome. From the staff od the reception, abdul is Always kind, en take the time to expalian things, or talking anyway,Mohammed is a complete other person,bu, he is also willing to help and he has the irritant habit asking for tip money.ignore it, and give him something you think it is worse!any way, the food is good and the staff of the restaurant is very friendly too.i Always go to Hotel Amine.Take bus 1, opposite the shell station, and in 15 minutes you/re by the koutoubia mosque,a perfect place to explore all marrakech.I alwys enjoyed my staying in Hotel Amine,It is good reasonable priced.nice swiimming pool,The rooms are okay!! i enjoy eturning to hotel Amine 24 december again!Lovely hotel, peter van der horst, the netherlands
We stayed at this hotel for a week and overall the hotel was really nice. The food at this hotel was amazing and as we were vegetarians they had different choices for us everyday which was nice of them. In the restaurant a man named Abdul helped us a lot and he was very friendly and he looked after us very well. The pool at this hotel was okay however the music around the pool could have been better as it was just one cd put on repeat. The WiFi around this hotel was very poor if you needed to use your phone you could only go and use it in the lounge as it did not work around the rooms. The rooms were kept very clean as cleaners came and cleaned it everyday! Overall very clean hotel, friendly staff, poor WiFi and it is located far away from everything
I really can't complain I came to Marrakech when I was 18 and this was the perfect hotel for a teen without a job so cheap and in a brilliant location. Really had a blast here. I wouldn't say the hotel was amazing the rooms was okay could do with better beds but the other amenities was good.
We have been going to this hotel for 22 years on and off This was our 14th time and we had a lovely time. The staff are friendly and Abdull really worked hard to make the guests feel special Yes the hotel has gone down but there are a lot of things happening behind the scenes and thestaff must be worried about their jobs. The rooms are cleaned every day and the pool area is beautiful . Will be back soon guys Bill and Margaret
I just arrive from 7 days half board. The food is very poor, no options no buffet. No bar no alcohol, they don't have license to sell alcohol!!!! We are in 2015!!!! THe most of staff are friendly BUT the 'Manager' of front desk MOHAMED is very rude, no skills to talk to the customers!!! was the worst hotel I've been in my life. The hotel IS CLOSING DOWN lots of problems with lights and very old stuff at the bedrooms. Wifi just working at the lobby...no wifi at the pool area. Big lack of communication between hotel and customers...if you still want to go after my report be careful and ask everything about how many meals can you have. No entertainent... nothing to do at hotel just de pool is good but be prepared to listen Marrocon music all the time. Trust me...don't go to Amine Hotel...if you want to go to Marrakech search carefully where you gonna stay but I don't recommend Marrakech
Great cheap comfy clean! Is that what you want? That's what you'll get. Food is boring and naff, cheaper next door and lovely. Visit the waterfalls in the atlas mnts! Trust your rep, trips are priced ok, you get better than you pay in soul food. Wear a headress girls or you don't get respected! Come on! We expect folk visiting UK to respect our country and its history. Get the bus 4 dirhum a trip looping all the main area, buy nice orange j , smile and bloody well enjoy it. Oh and there's trips to the horse extravaganzer, GO! Have a great time 5 days is long enough btw Namaste
Having just returned I would submit the following for anyone thinking of visiting this hotel The hotel is basic needs updating but the plus is as follows Very very clean pool spotless staff very friendly It is very quiet plenty of room round pool No bar and food basic but nice I would call travelodge of Marrakech great value for money You can walk to shopping centers and its 3pounds to the medina in taxi There are drink stores nearby Very relaxing breakfast basic but y can ask for omelette or fruit Great value give it two stars no single room supplement If y want to be near town not ideal Plenty of small shops around its a great base to discover Marrakech on a budget Room cleaners very good everyday they need to upgrade rooms though Don't believe they would rob you left all items in room never touched my rubbish Its a shame half the areas unused
I have stayed here about 5 times, so please read. First of all, it used to have a licence to sell alcohol but it doesn't now!! However, less than 5 minutes from the hotel is a good bar called 'Jardins Des Arts'. Come out of the hotel, turn left and left again and it's on the right hand side. You will pass Cafe Diamant Vert which does good food. If you cross the main road, you can catch the No. 1 bus close to Djemaa El-Fna. For a cold beer near the square, go to the Grand Hotel Tazi. I stay here on a B&B basis now but for a few extra pounds, half board is a good option, but the choice is limited. The breakfast is OK but a bit boring, so do not expect anything special. You can get a 1.5 litre bottle of cold water from the garage next door - the hotel doesn't do big bottles just cold-ish small ones. The staff aren't that friendly but I have had no problems with them. As there is no alcohol here, it is very quiet in the evenings - everyone is out. The rooms are quite good but a bit dated, but they are very clean. There is Wi-Fi in the hotel but not everywhere. The pool is lovely! For the money, this is a great base to explore a fascinating city.
