Excellent place to rest and breathe peace.
Arrived to find grounds were ok, pool looked pretty decent. Checked out our room to find our mattress full of bugs!!!! Office staff was already gone by 7pm so I paid for a room that I definitely couldnt sleep in and had to sleep in my car. My husband slept outside on a pool chair because we both couldnt fit in the car. Horrible experience.We got up at 4am and left. Hoping someone reads this and I can at least get a partial refund if not a total refund, total waste of my money. We were so disappointed. I have pics of bugs if needed.

Traveling to the property is difficult as it is up a steep mountain and on a winding road. The roads are poorly lit and it is dangerous. However, the rooms are clean. The view is gorgeous. The pool is small for all the guests but it is still enjoyable. The restaurant is very limited and doesn’t serve many option. It also runs out of popular items quickly and has a very small selection. But there are chickens and sheep you can pet for the kids. The staff is friendly.

We spent one night at this location because we were travelling through the island, stopping at different places. It is well kept and clean. If you like nature, this is the place for you. You are in the middle of a rainforest. It took about 45 minutes getting there from the main road, all the way up to the mountain. The road is narrow and sometimes it turns into one lane. I was a little nervous. We arrived at 4 pm, the gate was closed, so we gave them a call. They gave us the number combination to open the gate. No one was in the office so they left the key on a table in the room. They have a cafeteria so we ordered some food. They told us they close the kitchen at 6 pm. so you should order before that time. We didn't feel like venturing going down the hill to find another place to eat, it must be scary driving in the dark, besides you could get lost if you take the wrong turn. The morning was great, the surroundings are beautiful. The cafeteria opens at 8 am, we ordered coffee and an omelette and waffles. The food was ok.
Is a small hotel but is beautiful, the staff is awesome, very kind people. The room was perfect and spacious. Is the perfect hotel, if you want stay inside mountains.
Nice secluded hotel. Features puertorrican food, home grown coffee ( delicious!), and they will give you tours to nearby attractions, such as salto curet .

Puede mejorar el desayuno. Su menú muy limitado y demasiado sencillo para el lugar q es. La Hacienda es hermosa !!!! Volveremos y todo su personal muy amable.
