Ground Floor Home "NO STAIRS" !!!!!! We love that the house located on a Quiet street 4 houses in from the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico and minutes from the Ocean Side and Sombrero Reef via VACA cut, with Miles of a "New" Bicycle/ walking lane along aviation Blvd. right at the end of the street, and only minutes (3 miles) from Sombrero Beach and 5 Miles from the newly restored "Old 7 Mile Bridge" walking and biking bridge spanning 2 miles to Pigeon Key.

This Ground Floor, 4 bedroom 3 1/2 Bath House has ample sleeping options for every type of family/friend gathering and is handicap accessible also providing a handicap accessible floor level shower in one bathroom. We are pet friendly but there is a pet fee of 200.00 that applies for the week

ample parking for several vehicles and even room out front for a boat trailer........ Bringing your boat??? then you will love the fact that the boat ramp is 1/4 mile down the road making launching your boat a dream.

The floor plan is a open plan with all rooms connected to the main living room area. Every bedroom is equipped with "smart" flat-screen TVs. as well as a big screen TV in the living room. with 3 of the 4 bedrooms equipped with the own "Mitsubishi" A/C units for personal temperature preference.

CANAL: The property is located on a True "Flow Through" Canal which supports abundant ocean life, with snapper, parrot fish, nurse sharks, tarpon, lobsters and many more spotted daily at our 90' Dock (60'usable as our boat & lift take up 30')
2 paddle boards a available for your enjoyment of the large bay out front loaded natural coral located at the end of the canal

An amazing, inground, beach entry pool with hot tub w/ waterfall Grotto measures 40'x 15'. There is a Tiki hut sits right at the beach entry end of the pool with an outside pool 1/2 bathroom right at poolside as well as a outside hot/cold fresh water shower also the jumbo size Chess / Checkers as well as Corn Hole located in the front sandy area along the canal.

Newly designed landscaping/fencing was laid out with privacy in mind.

Large Outside Screened in Lanai measuring 40'x 20' with outside bar area with sink, sitting and eating area. also full size refrigerator for beverages as well as a small Bait freezer and Ice machine for the fishermen.

This property is strictly a Sun-Sun, 7day rental property, we do not rent nightly.

Beautiful Backyard

Beautiful property! Conveniently located in Marathon Key. The backyard/pool area was amazing! The mature trees around the property allowed for privacy and a relaxing, retreat from the world kind of feeling! We loved it so much, we rarely left the house! The host was easy to communicate with and we are already planning a return trip!

My family and I had the most amazing time together at this home while on vacation. 10 of us comfortably stayed here for the week and had a blast. Great location! We even paddle boarded and saw manatees in the canal. Great pool and hot tub. If you are looking for a wonderful house, this it! Craig was great in answering all questions and was so helpful. This house was absolutely perfect for our vacation to the keys! Plenty of space for the whole family. The home and property are beautifully kept. Perfect October Getaway

Three couples was the perfect combination for a stress free, relaxing week. The pool is hands down the absolute best thing about this property!! One hour from Key West, 30 minutes from Islamorada, what more could you ask for? The Turtle Hospital and aquarium were also very hands on and informative, even for adults. Would 100% stay here again.

This house is perfect!

This beautiful waterfront home was the perfect place for myself and my family of 7 to stay. It is fully stocked with towels, cooking utensils, plates Etc. The pool was out of this world! My family swam in it every day and evening. The canal out back was full of wild life and fishing was amazing. The host was very attentive and supportive. You are just minutes from anything you need. Also for someone with bad knees suck as myself, no stairs was very helpful. We will be back ASAP!!

Marathon stay

My family and I stayed here for a week!!! We had the best time!!! The easiest check in and out process!! The pool was amazing and after a long day in the sun the house was always nice and cool! There was plenty of room on the dock for the boat we rented and our 2 jet skiis. The only negative was the bugs and sand nats. Just remember we live in Florida. Bring your favorite bug spray and you will be ok!! We will definitely be back next year :)

Perfect getaway

The house is amazing, the room setup, the pool, the dock, everything was just incredible. The owner was outstanding with communication and everything was an absolute joy. The kids were in heaven swimming from morning until night unless we were going to the beach or to key west. Fishing was good too the wildlife in the canal was amazing. Saw tons of fish, two nurse sharks, a bunch of lobster, and a few manatee. It was the perfect needed vacation for us and our teen children.

We all enjoyed our stay. The dock was plenty big enough for our 25' boat. The house was clean and plenty of room for 8 adults. A manatee visited us twice during the week and we enjoyed watching the parrot fish around the dock too. I will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Fabulous Place for Early Family Christmas

We like to rent a vacation home for our family Christmas celebration, which we do early so that our adult kids don't have date conflicts with their in-laws. The Keys is our favorite location. There are so many activities that everyone stays entertained. The Grouper House didn't disappoint. It was clean and roomy with a wonderful pool with a waterfall and grotto. the pool is heated via solar power and the water was comfortable in December weather. We had some 60 degree weather and we still enjoyed the pool. The hot tub was roomy and inviting too! The outdoor set ups are numerous. We most enjoyed the screened in lanai. The furniture out there was so comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the details of an outdoor ice-maker, giant chess set, fishing from the canal dock and the stand-up paddle boards. This property is highly recommended! Super clean, well outfitted and close to everything in Marathon. Our tiny dogs enjoyed sitting in the sun and going to watch the sunset every evening.

Where do I start? The home is perfect and fitted with everything you could possibly need. The pool and hot tub were awesome and very private. The house was very clean and every bedroom had their own tv. Plenty of seating in the living room and the outside as well. I would highly recommend this home and I would definitely rent it again!
