The property was cute and close to food and activities. The aparment was clean and mostly comfortable (the primary bed was less so, but I am a high-maintenance sleeper.) I loved that activites like kayaking and bikes were included in the rental. We only stayed one night but we would love to come back again!

This was the 2nd stay and the room was clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. We loved having the free kayaks. This is a great hidden gem of a place. It's not fancy, but it's comfortable and a great location. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Be AWARE! The “Cottage” is a floating Cabin. It constantly rocks, has a marine toilet and is only secured on ONE SIDE. I reserved this CABIN several months ago and was told one week before my trip that i booked a “houseboat”. NO WHERE on the website is this vessel described at a boat. When they called, they did not offer to move me to another area but instead assured me that the boat was stable, attached to a dock on 3 sides and had all the amenities of a hotel room with more space and a kitchenette. I explained my husband has multiple health issues and has difficulty walking as he is very unsteady on his feet. I was again assured it would be fine. They made a point to tell me my reservation is not refundable. I argued it was false advertising. When we arrived, all the assurances they made were false. This is an “Aqua Lodge” tethered on one side, constantly moving and rocking in a small inlet with a few very large boats and a few smaller ones that come and go causing the lodge to rock ALL THE TIME. There was quite a large step over to the lodge and depending on the tide, was sometimes very far down in the water. We were provided NO information about the lodge, the heating or cooling system or TV. Come to find out the TV requires you to bring your own app and log into their tv; no local stations which was a concern with the government shutdown and FL weather.
