We stayed in condo #10. Key pickup was easy even though we had a late arrival and locating the property was easy as well. The condo was very nice with all the amenities you need. As stated in the rental information you will need additional paper products and it is required that you start a load of laundry and linens upon departing so plan ahead with laundry detergent and paper products. The pool was really nice and usually not very busy. Great stay!
Had villa #4 booked and after initial email confirming our stay we never heard from heather again. Comes time to check in and can’t get a hold of her. We’re out 2 grand and scrambling to find another place to stay. If you decide to book with this disaster make sure it’s with the actual rental company.
The tv was really old not working right they did fix it however, refrigerator was not working properly and had to have a new one delivered and oven did not even pretend to get hot! The furniture was very uncomfortable and dirty!!! What they charge for a vacation package was disappointing! It needs to be updated for sure and made sure things s were working properely
We are a family of four, with two teenagers, who stayed at Coral Lagoon Resort for the second time, in April 2018. I love it here. Sitting on your porch, overlooking the canal, listening to the wind in the palm trees is heaven. We have now stayed in two different condos that were both very nice. The location is perfect, midway through the keys, to see and do all the keys have to offer. We visited Key West, took a snorkeling excursion with a private charter, visited beaches, without ever having much of a drive. My kids sprayed the water hose at the end of the dock to give a manatee a drink of fresh water. The pool setting is gorgeous, with plenty of palm trees and chairs. If we ever get back to the keys I will stay here again.
Calm, reasonably-priced place if you're going to Fantasy Fest. Stayed at a 3-bedroom unit to easily accommodate 3 couples. Nicely furnished and comfortable. Nice large pool that may have been heated, as it was so comfortable. Back porch was 10 feet from a canal (units say "water view", but that means its faces a transport canal. A boat slip can be rented in front of your porch. The first thing we did upon arrival was walk through the front door directly to the back porch and out to the water. Hmmm...just a canal. Looked down and saw a 3-foot shark swimming by. There is no service personnel. You are given a code to enter the unit and may never see staff (we did not). One of the bedrooms was very comfortable, with a king. A second bedroom had either a full-or queen bed. The third had two twin beds. Fortunately, we got the king, but I felt bad about the couples. We rented this for two nights during Fantasy Fest because of the reasonable price. But its a hour from Key West, and that's a hard drive to make late at night after a full day of fun and consumption. I think we'll stay closer to Key West next time.
I own a slip here. Dry storage. It is like pulling teeth to get anyone to put my boat in when I make a request. They say they need several days notice. I pay 270 per month plus the cost of the slip 17k and weird fees during Irma. 1600.00. If you do t pay what they tell you to go pay they can take your boat. They made a real mistake last week. Which I would t mention quite yet. But it did put me in danger and my boat almost sunk. Nuf said. I help pay their salaries but I call and actually get hung up on. Bad help all around. I would not suggest buying here.
The little efficiency is cute with high ceilings and nice decor. The main complaint was the mattress & bed was horrible! The extremely uncomfortable mattress and box springs squeaked loudly every time we moved... and would wake us up. They need a new bed!!! There was a pull out couch but that mattress was uncomfortable also. We arrived a couple hours earlier than the 5 pm check-in and even though it was empty and READY, they charged us $100 extra to go ahead and check in. After a 7 hour drive we were tired so we went ahead and paid ... The grounds are not attractive at all!
We stayed four nights at Coral Lagoon. Upon arrival we found there was a lack of proper cleaning, but it was solved after we contacted the landlord. Coral Lagoon offers nice surroundings, and some houses even have their own boat parking in the little Canal. All houses have poarches facing the water (canal or the bay). The houses are well equipped and the big poarch on the top floor is fantastic any time during the day or night. If you go out to the Overseas Highway, turn left heading Key West, pass Marathon airport and continue for approx five minutes, you will come to a KMart and Publix super market on your left. We felt Marathon was perfect for our stay in the Keys.
We arrived a few weeds after Hurricane Irma, so there were some understandable issues such as piles of debris around the premises. Also TV and WIFI were not functioning -- again, understandable after the storm. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and convenient. Well-maintained, with a really wonderful saltwater pool. We had it pretty much to ourselves (again because of the storm) and had a wonderful time.
Our family stayed here in a beautiful 3 bedroom two story townhome. It was perfect. The family had a great time. We sat on the back porch in the evening with our boat docked right out back. We enjoyed this little development so much and the common areas were great. The pool was refreshing and a great was to unwind after a rough day fishing. Can't wait to go back.
