The facilities were mediocre. Staff was friendly and welcoming.
We went to the room and put our belongings inside. Came back a few hours later and it smelled so badly of Cig smoke that we couldn't stay there.
Hotel, and room were clean, and well maintained. Very reasonable price. Only complaint was some noisy upstairs neighbors, the floor was constantly creaking from occupants climbing on & off bed and running across floor, even in late hours. Will stay there again.
The location of the hotel is great, very near Ashland University campus. The rooms were cleaned well and promptly. The included breakfast was somewhat disappointing. It was basically a cup of coffee from a thermos and toast. Cereal was also available. The price was very good, which probably explains the meager breakfast.
When you walk in it smells of smoke, no one is ever at the main desk, we had to call the hotel to get someone to check us in. Lacks customer service.
Overall hotel was nice, clean, quiet. Ended up parking at the neighboring strip mall parking lot. In the morning there were parking spaces available but they had been occupied by the patrons of the tavern at the hotel when we checked in. All in all experience was good.
Old and needs updating! Continental breakfast were boxes from Sam's Club of muffins and juice. Towels were horrible, I have cleaner looking rags than they have towels. One flat pillow per person. Shower mat I would not use. On the plus side did have free WiFi. Old TV and very old phone, I haven't seen of those in years. You get what you pay for! Would never stay there again

We checked in late, that was no problem, service was nice. Room was clean and warm, doesn't have the corporate polish but really very nice. We could unfortunately hear the person above us getting up and going to the bathroom, but other than that there were really no problems. Very close to Ashland College.
Good location. Room was dirty, food behind the lampstand,had to call roommaid to vaccume garbage under nightstand. At check out owner (clerk) had no money for change when checking out, Had hard time understanding them talking, did not know how to use a calculator or give change. Towels stank and were not clean, one looked like someone polished black shoes with it, had black and yellow stains. My family next door to us their coffee cups had pink or red grainey substance on outside of cup and inside of cup.NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL
We were very surprised at the cleanliness and amenities for an inexpensive hotel. The room was well-maintained and spotless. We weren't looking for pool and spa-type amenities just what we consider basics these days - coffee, hair dryer, extra shampoo, an ironing board/iron and a quiet heating/airconditioning system. The location was easy to find. The peacefulness and quiet was a big plus.
