The shower curtain had a sour smell and left me feeling unclean even after I showered. The faucet location by the sink is too close to the edge making water leak on the counter and the floor. The shower heads make a whistling sound that can be heard through the walls. Finally, the front desk staff made no effort to come to the front desk from the back room. I had to yell,
The hotel is in a great location, easily accessible to area restaurants and other attractions. Quick interstate accsess. Professional and very clean. Great stay. I would recommend this hotel again. Nice
We have been staying at this hotel twice a year for the past few years and have noticed a drop in the overall quality. The rooms have been remodeled but the new materials and workmanship are poor. The fight that broke out in the hallway was addressed, but is not something I typically experience when I travel!
I stay here regularly, it is my favorite Hampton Inn. Amber at the front desk is always so welcoming and Brenda always greets me with a smile at breakfast. Great people, great place to stay! Plus, Hershey kisses left on the desk in the room adds a warm touch!
We stayed here for 1 night on a road trip in early April 2018. The hotel was recently refurbished and everything looks/appears new, which is nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We stayed in a suite with 2 queen beds. It was very spacious, new, and clean. For the price, it is a fine place to stay. That said, I feel bad for the owners/staff of this place because of what appears to be some mind-blowingly dumb new features that Hilton has put in place at Hampton Inns recently (not just this one, from what I can tell, though this is the first I have stayed at), and what appears to be shoddy workmanship by whoever did the refurbishment. The bathrooms are "barn door" style but mounted a good inch and a half away from the door frame. No matter how you "close" the door, you can see right into the bathroom. There is a huge gap. The door does not seal out the view, smells, noise, anything. I am astounded that Hilton let this design get rolled out. Ditto the sink faucet, which is set in the corner of the sink and almost impossible to use (and when you do use it, it dumps water all over the counter). Really, Hilton? Then there was unfortunate workmanship in the room. There were clear and large gaps between the flooring and the wall in numerous places. The door to the room has a big gap at the bottom, and was crooked (or the door frame was), leaving a big gap between the frame and the door. The peep hole in the door was not installed properly. The hole was too big and you could literally spin the peep hole around or even push it to the side if you wanted. Those were just a few examples. I still give this place a "4" because it is clean, new, and in a convenient location, but not up to the normal standard I'd expect.
Standard Hampton Inn vibe, staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, recent modernization of bathrooms nice, unsure about sink set up or barn door style shared with closet but rest is great. Breakfast was ok, was only there one night so may not have experienced all the options but found it limited for those needing gluten sensitive or dairy sensitive options.
Needed a comfortable in-out on a Sunday evening to Monday morning. Everything was great. Breakfast was especially good. Hotel lobby and rooms were very clean. Workout facility was not great but certainly adequate. Overall the value was good.
The check-in process was quick and easy. The hotel was very clean and the staff was great. Wish I would have time to use the pool and fitness center as they were very nice. Will be staying here again. I would highly recommend this hotel.
This is a pretty typical Hampton Inn with the exception of the very weird bathroom door that is mounted like a sliding "barn door". It wouldn't have been so bad, except the door didn't fit very well, leaving a large gap around the outside. The beds were comfortable in this one, though.
