Seemed to be an older place. Doesn’t seem to quite as good as most Fairfield’s I’ve been in but still wasn’t a bad stay. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. I would probably stay here again.

We stopped here due to the location near the Ohio State Reformatory which we were visiting. The hotel offers the normal amenities at a decent price. The good: Friendly staff. The desk person who checked us in was nice and professional. It was very quick and easy to get our room assignment and key. Swimming pool. We did not use it but it is available and the area looked clean. It was also open 6am-midnight which is a larger window that normal. Fitness center. I used this and the elliptical was well maintained and worked smoothly. The two treadmills also looked newer and in good condition. There was also an adjustable weight bench with an assortment of dumb bells. There was a television with cable and a great picture and nice volume. A water cooler/cups and towels were also available. The room: Nicely laid out. A king size bed with TV and also a large couch with a second TV. Never saw two TVs in one room. It was clean and cool even on a 98 degree day. The bathroom was normal but was clean and the water pressure was good. Breakfast: Included; bacon, eggs, waffle maker, cereal, fruit, bread/muffins, coffee and juice. It was a Saturday so it was open 7am-10am. The area was clean and had ample seating. The lady working the breakfast area was constantly checking food levels and re-filling. The bacon (normal and Canadian) was well cooked and the eggs were firm and not watery. There were small wait times for getting food but it was good quality and was happy. USA Today was available for free. Parking. Ample and well lit. Also a covered area for checking in and unloading if it was raining. Guest laundry. We didn't use this but seemed a great idea. If needed I'm sure would be very welcome to have it. The bad: Not much. It was a good stay. Room: We had either a horse or inconsiderate person above us stomping around until after 1am (luckily we were up late anyway). But it was noisy. I am not sure whether it was the person or the lack of sound proofing on the ceiling. But I would give it the benefit of the doubt. Cleaning service: The room was clean and well presented. The downside was that we were relaxing on a Saturday morning after a late night and heard a lot of noise in the hallway. I finally got up and looked and it was two employees doing maid service and talking and laughing very loudly. It was bad enough that we just got up and decided to check out.

So I am stuck here for business for 5 weeks, and I think the old Mansfield prison that was shot during the movie Green Mile would be a preferable location. Rooms had an odd odor, staff is very bad, breakfast is pulled exactly at 930, if you a few minutes late they act like you are trying to steal from them. Came back from my overnight shift and my door was propped open and there wasn't any maid cart on the floor. I went down to the desk and they said they would look into it. My roomate went down the next day and they said that was the first they heard about it. They also lied about giving reward points for the stay. The country Inn is a much better choice, Marriot is becoming the new Choice hotel chain.

Stayed with a friend from a Monday nite to a friday morning. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. I have dietary restrictions and I was able to get Gluten free items for bfst. The selections on the bfst bar were excellent. Many choices and all looking fresh . My friend had a different bfst everyday. She also liked the indoor pool and the exercise room. Internet access was fine and tv also. Because of storms in the area the signal was lost once but that can happen at home also. My only complaint and it's minor, concerns the reception desk. On occasion there was no one there and you had to wait for someone to come to wait on you. Room in back of desk needs a window so staff can see if someone needs help.

Easy stop off of highway lots of great places to dine and shop within 2 miles of location. Relaxing room good internet speed, nice amenities to offer guests, pool breakfast and good parking accommodations

As the saying goes, You never have a second chace to make a first impression. When we arrived at this hotel, there was no one at the check in desk. When he showed up, he was very rude and unpleasant. I have been a platinum member of Marriott's reward program for over 25 years and this was th rudest Marriott employee that I have encountered. After dinner I needed to do some laundry in the coin operated laundry and I went to the front desk to get detergent. The same person looked around and said that the hotel must be out of detergent. He did not seem to feel that it was a problem. He was not the least bit apologetic. His solution: You can go to the supermarket and buy some. So I had to find a supermarket and ended up with a package of 24 laundry pods when I needed only one. This is the first time in all the years that I have stayed at Marriott properties that the frontt desk or the laundry room did it have laundry. Detergent. After a long day of driving, you really do. It feel like getting in your car and search for a supermarket. I would have given this hotel only one star except for the fact that the room was fine and we slept well. Also, when I spoke to the manager this morning about his check In employee and the problems that we encountered, he was great. I hope that the hotel gets its act together because it good be a very nice Fairfield Inn.

Drove 8 hours from home to be told that they overbooked the hotel. We had made our reservation weeks prior. Front desk was barely apologetic and unaccommodating. We requested to see a manager that never seemed to show up. Instead we dealt with a confused front desk employee that was attached to his vape pen with no sense of urgency whatsoever. Instead of sticking around we were able to find a room at the Hampton Inn 20 minutes away that was beyond fantastic. Clean, reasonably priced rooms. Wonderful staff that bent over backwards to make us happy. Even opened their kitchen to us when it was closed so we could have a bite to eat after our long day. Looking back, I can't say Fairfield Inn completely ruined my birthday. To be honest, my initial impression before even dealing with the staff was that the place was a dump and I was concerned about our stay. Their incompetence turned out to be a blessing.

Made reservations for 2 rooms with a special note that we would be checking in at 3am since we would be getting into town rather late as we had tickets for a local attraction that ended at 3am. We got into town earlier than anticipated so we decided to check in to the hotel early and settle our stuff. When we arrived they told us that they actually didnt have our rooms available and we're fully booked. We were left STRANDED 7 hours from home and basically told us we were out of luck. We were offered no other compensation other than finding a room at a competitors hotel. We booked the room over a month in advance. Also the concierge couldn't hold off from smoking his vape pen while trying to figure out how to pacify us. Absolute terrible terrible experience.

We booked a room with a roll in shower as my husband is in a wheelchair. We arrived to find website booking does not specify to the hotel the type of ADA compliant room reserved even though a roll in shower is a category you can request. We could only get a room with a tub and a shower seat. Not the hotels fault, but the millennial who checked us in was less than sympathetic. No shower for the husband. My husband was ill most of the night so checking out was not a picnic. I forgot my laptop and when I called to inquire if it had been found I was told it had not been turned in. Talked to the same millennial, same level of caring. And some employee has my laptop. Won't stay again.

the stay was great staff was super friendly rachael the manager was very helpful and kind. the front desk person, Bree helped me find things to do in the arean along with Christina. vey great hotel and great place to stay!
