The best and beautiful hotel in Valencia (Spain). Excellent service , good and very friendly staff. I recommend this hotel for all my friends and all my family. I like a room service . Excellent food in hotels restaurant.
Good situation for stay after evening flight or before early morning flight. Airport transfer could run a little later as we arrived after nine and had to take a taxi. Hotel comfortable and staff helpful. Bar could open earlier than 8.30pm.
Staying couple night in here, little bit far from central of Valencia but if you have car nice stay here, free parking, small swimming pool, gym, good wifi, good air conditioner, shuttle mini bus to airport, friendly stuff and very comfortable bed.
We arrived late one afternoon and left at 5am the following morning. The hotel is difficult to find by GPS (only google maps helped). The back entrance was frightening... but the hotel was a very nice surprise! Free parking and a nice lobby with vending machines. Our wake up call woke us up 1 hour earlier than organized (3.45 in stead of 4.45am!) and the sandwiches in the bar are overpriced. However the staff was nice and the rims were great! 12 euros to get to the airport by taxi (shuttle bus starts at 6am). Recommend!
On June 5th I was staying on room 346 of TRYP AZAFATA (Valencia) and during the night I discovered bugs all over the bed and desk, my clothes were on top of the desk and my suitcase was open next to the bed, which caused the infestation of my possessions. I immediately contacted the front desk for help. They confirmed the issue, spoke with the manager and moved me to room 301. At the time I did not know how bad the infestation was, but when I arrived home both my clothes and suitcase were completely contaminated and had to be discarded completely. Although I tried to be quite reasonable since I only wanted the hotel to reimburse me for my luggage items, the hotel didn't want to take any responsibility for the damages. I do not recommend this hotel, the customer service is awful.
I don’t really know how other guest has been reviewed this hotel as a good one. I don’t even know how is it possible this hotel can have 4 stars. I truly believe this hotel can have no more than 2 stars. There is not communication between reception and house keeping staff, at all. Moreover house keeping staff use to enter into your room even you are sleeping inside. Check-in is way too long. I heard many guests complaining for whatever. We had the bad idea to go for dinner at the hotel restaurant once but the floor staff does not have any kind of experience in hospitality and of course no more than 1 vegetarian option. I know we are in Spain but I truly believe someone has to speak at least a beginner level of english in a 4 star hotel restaurant. You will never find a slowest internet all around Spain. A vending machine can't be considered a 24/7 service.
I stayed one night at the Tryp Valencia Azafata Hotel near the airport because I had to catch an early morning flight. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is large and features a good sized walk-in shower. The only cleaning products are a hand gel by the sink and a multi-purpose shower gel which I didn’t particularly like. So, consider packing a small bar of soap and some shampoo. The friendly and efficient front desk may offer an upscale room for an additional fee. The standard rooms are more than adequate, so I don’t see the point of going that route. The internet worked and can support video calls. Getting to this hotel is tricky and while you can use the hotel’s shuttle from the airport you should call the hotel on arrival to find out where and when it will arrive. A taxi will set you back at least 12 euros. Going to the airport might be easier unless you have an early morning flight (the first shuttle leaves at 6 AM). However, the front desk will arrange a taxi that should cost 10 euros. I would not recommend walking to this hotel as none of the map systems provide sufficiently accurate directions. One of the highlights of this hotel is the restaurant which offers a prix fixe dinner for 22 euro that includes an aperitif, 5 tapas, a main course, and desert. This is an outstanding price for the high quality food and available selections (an ala carte menu is also available). This is fortunate because eating options in the immediate area are very limited. The hotel also has a less formal bar and eating area where you can order lighter fare. Other than the odd location, I would recommend this hotel.
Nice and modern hotel. Comfy beds, pillows a bit squishy, bar opens shorter hours than I would have expected. The staff are nice but as friendly as other hotels. Great value if you are flying into or out of Valencia.
This hotel has done everything possible to overcome their main drawback; they are in an industrial area that just doesn't feel that safe. If fact, my wife didn't want to stay here upon arrival. The staff was able to help overcome her worries and the stay was very nice. The location is VERY close to the airport. An early morning flight, plus the reviews are the reasons I chose this hotel. We stayed two nights in an upgraded room. It was very nice. I can't agree with other reviews about walking to the Metro station, but a taxi to old town was only 12 euros. Or you can take the airport shutting the airport and take the train to the city. The room was clean, well appointed and had English TV stations. The onsite restaurant is also very nice.
Booked the hotel to be near the airport. Knew about the shuttle but having deposited the hire car and having an 87 year old in the party we stupidly got a taxi just round the corner and got charged 25 euros - an absolute disgrace. The place is clean and functional. The staff friendly and helpful. But the rooms of course needed the windows closed but the air conditioning provided quite a hum which made sleep difficult. The breakfast was excellent but the dinner in the restaurant a bit disappointing. The morning shuttle back to the airport was great and free. Bring ear muffs??
