I picked the hotel as it was a 4* and close to the airport for a one night stand, not having time to go downtown. At our arrival we discovered (was with my wife) that a standard room is in fact a room with two separate rooms. After we paid a price adder for a "premium room" we went to the second floor (236) for a room with a queen bed. Night was real bad with lots of noise from the highway and a free wake up call at 600 am with the first take off. Our room was giving up directly to the fixed point of one of the VLC runway. Also it seems in this hotel the HVAC is not reversible on the fly. It's set on heating at this time of the year and thus in case of high ambient (28 C today March 17) you just die. Same experience in the breakfast room. Just out of the shower and already sweating. Like often in Spain a nice closed room without a single window ... Loved it. How nice it is to start a day. We also tried the restaurant at night... 5 or 6 guests at best and one waitress running all over the place stressed like crazy at 930 pm. Food was OK but nothing fancy. Final conclusion is you find in remote places in Africa much better hotels than this one. I complained when checking out but nobody had any idea to apologize and to offer a discount. All in all a shame and certainly a place to avoid in my opinion.
Spending a couple of days in Valencia prior to flying back to Canada. We wanted a hotel close to the airport to ease the journey home but wanted good communication into town. The hotel is a good standard with comfortable modern rooms. The surprise was the breakfast buffet which was much larger and better than we had expected. The metro line station Rosas is a short walk from the hotel and the service into city centre (station Xativa) takes around 20 mins and costs 3.1Euro. The walk is through an industrial area so is not pretty but again its only a short walk. Parking seems limited at hotel. Also it is necessary to keep a sharp eye for the service road exits off highway as you can miss the hotel.
We stayed here to and from Mallorca. It's convenient and the rooms are comfortable. BUT The restaurant has Spanish hours - no service before 8-30 or 9. They offer a take away, which we tried and it was awful. We had an early flight and no breakfast because it does not start until 7:30. On the way back we made sure we'd eaten before arrival. The one worry was that the shuttle stops at 10 pm. For heavens sake, this is an airport hotel owned by a large group and not that cheap. Airport hotels offer 24-hour service and don't expect hungry travellers to order a take away. Staff were, nice. It's not their fault.
When you are one of three hotels in a small town owning the airport to the country's third most-important city, maybe average is okay. The Azafata Hotel has a friendly hard-working staff. The rooms are small, but in Valencia the same would cost much more. If you are arriving to Valencia via air or car, Manises and this hotel give you low-cost accommodations that are near the airport and the metro lines that whiz you to the heart of the city. Great for one-nighters wishing to see the sights of Valencia.
this hotel is very practical, close to airport has a Shuttle to and from Airport, but as any airport hotel it will have the positive and negative , i'd like to keep it on a positive note so summary of this hotel: Great Breakfast, very nice and friendly Staff, the restaurant has a good kitchen .... very handy connection to town by subway/ train just around the corner(my judgement is maybe a bit influenced by the regular visits)i hope you enjoy
Hotel is not a 4 Star, location is on a freeway, very noisy. Food is OK... nothing to write home about. Hallways need the carpets cleaned, rooms need paint. Staff is friendly, you feel safe Wifi connection off and on - not reliable Food is OK, expensive Rooms are nice, bed linens clean, bathroom new and in good repair.
I stayed here on a short business trip and found it very comfortable. One small issue was that the shuttle only runs until 10pm, but its only 10-12 euros in a taxi so not a big deal. The front desk staff were very helpful and provided a late check out which was very welcome. Room was clean and spacious, bed was very comfortable. It is in a nice location close to the airport and very reasonably priced too.
Nice, modern, clean and comfortable. Easy to return rental car in evening with free shuttle back to hotel and back to airport in the morning. Very friendly reception. It is next to a gas station, looks like nothing from outside but very nice inside.
Location for Valencia airport is perfect, 500 meters. If you need a shuttle before 6 am, its a 10 Euro taxi ride. Not complaining, just noting. Check in was smooth and friendly, service was exceptional. I stayed here one night as I had a 6 am flight out and didn't want to deal with an across the town cab ride. Room was clean, just the basics, and there were also the emergency traveler kits in the bathroom (comb, dental, save, etc.) Room was a bit noisy due to travelers arriving late and slamming doors, the wifi and tv worked very well. Onsite café and restaurant opens at 8:00 pm, I chose the café as restaurant seemed a bit expensive on the menu. Wakeup calls and taxi scheduled for you.
Very convenient for airport with free transfer bus. You need to ring the hotel from the airport to get the bus. It runs at 5 and 35 minutes past the hour. Clean, comfortable and inexpensive with an excellent breakfast.
