Hotel was great....Upscale.....Booked through Orbits and when I checked in they asked for 3000 pesos for possible overrages....Met my fiancé in Manila. She had breakfast with me in the morning. Breakfast was included n the stay, but because I did not tell them my fiancé was staying with me, (I didn’t feel I had to) she was charged 2,250 pesos...over 50.00 USD. For Breakfast!!!! Drinks at the bar were what one would expect at an upscale establishment in the U.S. I was considering booking a reception there for her family and mine, but now no. I will look elsewhere. I would recommend this hotel to a friend, but definitely tell him to watch out for additional expenses....

Booked for three days two nights before flying to US. Incredible experience: ie. attendants were all ready to help, the food were sumptuous and the ambiance was superb. Couldn't compare to any other hotels in the area, this is the 5-star hotel!

FOr $200 per night don't stay here. Too many much better options. Very noisy place. Cannot sleep at night.

I stayed here for 10 days. I wish I had not made back to back nonrefundable reservations or I would have left after the first day. Car outside the room had broken alarm. Kept going off all night long. Called customer service at 2 a.m. They acknowledged the problem and said they would have management call me back. (Of course they never did). Called back at daylight now with a migrane and trip needed to find a doctor. LOts of I am sorry, and excuses. Offered to change room but the damage was already done. They acted like it is an isolated event or I would have changed rooms. Just to find out later that they knew about the problem didn't say it was ongoing at the time so had to deal with it for the entire 10 days of the stay. Doctors visits took a day out of my life and cost $200. Not to mention the cost of the room. Now out of pocket $400 for only that one day with no sleep/doctors fees/medicines. Again all the other staff is very nice. Management offered to do nothing worthwhile to help settle the matter. I am writing this review on day 8 of my 10 day stay. Normally I would never write a review of any kind. For the money you can do much better here in Manila.

Broken car alarm outside of my room for 10 days now. Most of the hotel staff is very friendly but Managment did nothing to resolve the problem or make it right after a 10 day stay spending thousands of dollars. You can do better for less money. If you are planning a trip and thought about sofitel. Keep Looking.

Room directly over convention center. Loud music all night every night. FOr $200 per night and overpriced food you can do much better for much less. This would be the last place I would stay again.

Hotel has had a car with broken alarm outside my room. The alarm goes off consistently and hotel management did nothing about it after bringing it to their attention. When you pay $200+ per night you expect to be able to rest. Instead I had additional expenses of going to hospital and getting medicine for migrane headaches. Not only out $200 for the room, but the additional expense of taxis, doctors, and medicine just to be able to sleep during the stay. Many other nicer hotels with less problems for the money.

The hotel is ok there. I stay at this hotel because of the swimming pool because i like the configuration and i love to swim i was disappointed in the room because i was there last year and had a much better room even though i paid the same price

nice location clean rooms nice lobby friendly staff nice swimming pool

Did not have room I requested so had to settle for lower floor with not a great view like expected. $62 US dollars for buffet that was not that great. Pod $20 US dollars for a frozen party cooked well done at sports bar. Casino was under renovation but still advertised. Rooms are outdated and not that nice for over $200 US dollars a night.

Beautiful place for a wedding. Watch out however. You will pay $50 for your breakfast buffet and and whopping $65 for dinner buffet. We ordered a plate instead of the rip off buffet and got sick on the fish they served. My fiance we stomach sick throughout the wedding and i was stomach sick for a full night. Everything is a rip-off. Way way too much charge to justify.

We were given promo packages but it was not Cleared and prices didn't truly reflected due to clauses or fine print. Once you missed the promo description the prices are outrageous! Unreasonably high! It's almost like they want to trick you so they can charge you more.

Great stay, nice, very nice. Polite staff. Awesome view of the ocean and sunset.

Great location near Mall of America and the restaurants and bars along the bay. Also just a short drive from the airport. Nice pool area with an open area along the bay to watch sunsets. Has pretty much everything...

Fabulous food and facilities. Great location by the port of Manila and near to the Convention Centre; World Trade centre and cultural centre. Not far from Nino Aquino airport.

The room we checked into initially smelled like mold. The staff did a great job by moving us to another room the following day. The Buffett was great but on the pricy side. Overall a great experience

It!s a nice hotel but was crowded and some facilities were closed due to an event when we checked in. Concierge was a bit slow but can be trusted. Customer contact service was excellent, even just through email.

Loved my time at the Sofitel and would have no hesitation to return there. I could have been anywhere as really was self contained paradise. Excellent facilities and I never felt I needed to or wanted to go anywhere else . Great restaurants and outdoor facilities and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped make my experience so special.

Hotel was extremely nice. Service was great, Staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was short staffed during one of its busiest season. We were there Christmas of 2014 and the time it took for us to get checked in was ridiculous - around 90 minutes!! The shower in our room has to be hand held to be used, otherwise you won't be able to use the shower. So imagine showering holding the shower on one hand and the soap on the other???
