the hotel is located in a beautiful area, very close to the city center. The apartment was clean, clean and nicely furnished, equipped with amenities and amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful to handle every need. We had a great time, I think I'll be back next time I'll have to be in Manchester for business and I recommend it to everyone, especially it is ideal for families or groups.

We stayed here for a night to attend my sons graduation, so we had a two bedroom apartment on the top floor with a small balcony at the side. The apartment was really well equipped and although well used (and would benefit from being painted - it must be frustrating trying to keep things nice) was very clean. The location is ideal and its not a long walk into the centre - the Northern Quarter is worth exploring though. AS with any city stay there is traffic noise but that's to be expected. A great place for family's to stay when you want some room. A special mention has to go to the young man who checked us in and out - his customer service was outstanding, he was so friendly, efficient and couldn't do enough for us. I will definitely stay here again - next time for more than one night!

We chose to stay here as at the time of booking it was cheaper than a mainstream hotel. We took our daughter up to Manchester for university. We had two double rooms which worked better than all sharing one room. The apartments are manned 24/7 at reception with brilliant, helpful young men. It is in the Northern quarter of the city within easy walking distance of the city. Loads of bars and restaurants again all a stone's throw away. Would definitely stay again when we're up that way again.

We usually stay at a similar setup in Shude Hill but that place put up their prices and dropped their standards,so it was time for a change. The check in/out was simplicity itself, the lads at reception even found me a certain kind of electrical lead as I'd left mine at home. Roomy, spacious the soft furnishings clean and plump, although the odd bit skirting could do with a lick of paint. The ice cube trays were the weirdest I've even come across, though. So a bag of ice from nearby Morrisons was needed! Only one thing detracted from the stay there - no side tables to use while sitting on settees watching tv etc. But overall, a great place to stay, facilities very good , locals friendly!

This is an excellent place fairly close to the middle of Manchester. It has plenty of bars and restaurants nearby in the northern quarter. The room was ready on arrival and everything was really impressive. It just seemed a little odd to have to pay a deposit without being told in advance. We paid and it was refunded the next day. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place , wonderful staff , helpful and friendly .... great value ,plenty of room and walking distance to all you'd like to visit .... local shopping nearby lots of restaurants and pubs ....... facility's to cook at home or head out

The apartments were Clean and modern. Check in was quick, staff were friendlier than I tend to get when checking in hotels, they were knowledgable of Manchester and helped me find things i was looking for. They had people in the office over night. I had a friend stop over the sofa bed was handy. I'll be back

The apartment was nice and the hotel is centrally located, close to a number of attractions and train stations (Victoria and Piccadilly). The hotel is at Great Ancoats Street, a ring road that can be noisy at times although the double glazing windows help to keep that noise out of the apartment. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. The sofa beds were a bit hard to sleep upon and the lack of AC in Summer is a bit of a drawback although, natural ventilation helps to keep temperature down. The staff were very friendly and that helped a lot as well.

No hot water on my first night (of 3 nights stay). Went for a run came back and no hot water, logged the issue straight away at 6pm told engineer was at another hotel dealing with a flood and would be over as soon as possible. Fair enough but 2 hours later and no sign of the engineer despite calling every half hour or so for an update I asked for the engineer to see to the problem with a firm time of arrival or put me up in another hotel. Still sitting in my running gear by the way. Was told by reception if this had happened to me at home I wouldn’t expect a plumber to turn up straight away to which I replied I'm not at home but a paying customer at your hotel!!! Was then told if the TV broke down then I wouldn’t expect them to go down to Curry's and buy me a new one!!! To which I had to remind them the TV is not a necessity but hot water at a hotel or any type of accommodation you’re paying for is essential not a nice to have!!!! Absolutely shocking!!!! Was then told by reception that they had spoke to the owner who had kindly agreed to offer refund for the next two nights I was there and to cover any extra cost for alternative accommodation i could find my self for that night (note no ownership on their part to help me find a suitable alternative). So I looked for accommodation but would you believe nothing in the city centre was available (apart from the Lowry at £2.5k for the next 3 nights) due to a Radio Head concert the next evening. Nearest hotel was 2 miles out of the city. I suspect they knew this when they made the offer. So had no choice but to stay put. Engineer finally arrived at 10pm said he had fixed the issue and to give it an hour to let the tank warm up. 11pm tried the water and it was luke warm turning to cold after I had been under it for a few minutes. So 5 hours after logging the issue I got luke warm to cold water. By the morning the tank had warmed up there were no further issues with the hot water but didn't make up for the shocking treatment I got on the night of the incident. Overall putting the hot water issue aside the place had a good central location, adequate space and features but nothing to write home about, there was lingering smell within the apartment and more so in the hallways. Noise at night was hit and miss with being close to the A road and people out partying not keep their noise levels down. Final night there must have been a party going on in the apartment above me as constant noise till 1am. Won’t be staying here again and wouldn't recommend it. Oh by the way they offered 25% discount for the hot water issue not the whole stay just the first nights room price. Not adequate enough in my opinion would have been better if it hadn’t happened in the first place but better still would have been if they handled it better. Don’t expect them to go Currys if the TV breaks down during your stay there!!!

Stayed here for a firday night out, it is a short walk to the city centre bars and resturants. It was clean the shower was powerfull and the bed was firm, clean and well maintained. I'd take your one tea/coffee and fresh milk, there was uht capsule milk in the fridge but thats' not going in my tea!
