Attended a wedding there Saturday 19th May and have to say it was wonderful. The food was excellent, the service very good, top company and the whole day was marvelous! Would definitely recommend to anyone considering it for a venue as the place was well laid out with Courtyard for sitting outside on what was a lovely day.

Attended family wedding. Definite 5 stars for the service and venue. At at the Pendulum, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff or management. Beautiful food and environment. Clean and well laid out. Would certainly recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for one night before we did the Great Manchester Half Marathon. There was a wedding on and a hen party. We were kept awake most of the night by noise from other guests. It's a shame considering the size of the hotel that they couldn't segregate the guests and give us a quieter part of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful though.

The hotel was very affordable for our party of six - we booked three separate rooms. The location was excellent and staff were very accommodating with all our questions. We were visiting from NZ and Australia and were really impressed at how close the hotel was to everything we needed. Breakfast was included in our accommodation and the range was great. The hotel is walking distance to the main centre and to some amazing restaurants. Very close to the train station, so was convenient for us. We realised there were a number of guests there for business conferences or the nearby university, yet staff still made us feel like welcome holidayers. A place to remember and definitely visit again!

The Pendulum is a very nice stay. I highly recommend the restaurant in the Hotel. I had a delicious meal at The Hub: A roast beef dip with sweet potato fries. The cheesecake for dessert was amazing. My server, Deborah, provided friendly and efficient service. The Hub is a credit to The Pendulum Hotel.

We were visiting for 1 night as part of a celebration of a "big" birthday for my wife. The hotel was easy to find when arriving by car, although it does not have its own parking facilities. Our room was large with a desk and easy chairs with a table too. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was buffet style and plentiful. The hotel's location was central with lots of Manchester's attractions a close walk away.

Good location. Short walk from the railway station. Plenty of restaurants in the near. Rooms are clean, tidy and a good size. Bathroom is ok. Would prefer a proper shower not a shower over the bath with a curtain. I do like the bar and beer garden. Food is also very good. The bar staff Danny and Simian do a great job and are very polite and friendly.

The first person I met was the assistant manager I believe, whom was very pleasant and helpful. He convinced us to get the breakfast add on advising how good it was ( which he was telling the truth!!). Great service, fantastic garden (especially in the sun) The only slight downfall was the cocktails were stopped being served around 10pm as the bartender put the equipment away, but besides that, I will certainly be returning with the missus!!

Lovely staff shoutout to Danny and Simeon, fantastic lads, definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for a drink and a chat. Drinks are a reasonable price and student discount is available which is always great! Amazing for students.

We have stayed here many times before and never had any complaints. However this trip was extra special, they upgraded us to the executive suite, brilliant, thank you! The hotel is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay whether in a compact room or the executive suite. Breakfast is self service and plenty of choice, fresh fruit through to full English. Close to city centre with parking directly across the road. Parking charges Saturday and Sunday was just £4! The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Thank you for an extra special weekend. Defiantly recommended and will be back.
