Me and my partner spent 3 nights here, it’s close to everything. Didn’t really know what to expect, however pleasantly surprised! The room is nice, clean and what you’d expect. The staff are very polite and friendly. Made our stay lovely. Thank you, we will be returning

Not far from the station, but, if you don't know the way and it's a cold.wet.windy evening, following a google map direction wasn't easy. It's actually really well located and in different conditions, would have been simple to find. The rooms are fine, well designed to get so much into such a small space. Innovative lighting ! Limited dinner menu probably because restaurant wasn't open and the only menu was in the bar. Our visit was right after New year so probably at other times of the year, it would be different.

We stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed it. The bar area is a good size and well stocked with plenty to choose from. The courtyard is a welcome space to grab a bit of fresh air while you have a little tipple. All the staff on reception were very friendly and couldn’t do enough. A short walk and you are on Canal Street, Piccadilly gardens or the Palace Theatre.

We were bought a night with dinner a free drink and breakfast as a Xmas present from my daughter. The hotel is extremely clean and the hotel staff were probably the most friendly hotel staff I have experienced. The garden bar has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, which serves cocktails that are made well. Unfortunately we had limited options within our package for our “dinner” which consisted of a choice between pizza, burger or fish and chips. I didn’t really fancy any of these but opted for the pizza which was tasty. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice, it’s self service but this way you can eat as much as you like. After getting our bearings the situation of the hotel is in close proximity to the train station and in easy walking distance. Our room although small had everything we needed, tv, ironing board and iron, hairdryer and toiletries. My only gripe would be the position of the tv which was to the right of the head of the bed. We will definitely return.

The Hotel is very well located and with a multi story car park opposite that after midnight Friday to midnight Sunday has a £2 a day rate so I parked in the street outside free from 8pm till 8am Friday then moved car into car park for the rest of my stay ! What a bargain and I’ve used it many times when staying at other hotels in the Vicinity for the sake of a 10 minute walk The Hotel is smart, well maintained with a little coffee shop at the front and it’s feature massive swinging pendulum at the back. The rooms as everyone says are compact but apart from that well decorated and very comfy. I love the bar though with artificial grass outside giving the feel you really are in a garden when it’s in the middle of the well of the building so well done plus discounts off your 1st drinks ! The Restaurant is smart and breakfasts are good but haven’t had an evening meal so can’t comment Overall it’s certainly one of the better hotels in Manchester

parked up in the multi storey over the road, had a lovely greeting from the reception staff and found the room clean, well equiped and comfortable. all the staff are pleasent, we had a taxi booked for us and we had night at the O2 Appollo. returned and had drinks in the bar, theres a massive pendulem swinging and stretches up high, its amazing and opened by royalty. we left as we arrive with a fresh receptionist with the same Pendulum smile. will recommend and return again.

Stayed one night here and the hotel is great. Room was well equipped tea cofee etc, iron and ironing board, TV and peaceful 4th floor and the staff were super friendly. Location is great for universities I was surprised how close it was approx 9mins to Manchester Met campus. Student Manchester Met

Check-in was Swift they take a £25 holding deposit and if you have breakfast they refund you back the difference. Room was ok & breakfast also I would stay again however my trip was for business and the other hotel was booked where my event was being held.

A group of friends stayed overnight we had 3 rooms. All rooms were good. Hairdryer, tv, tea/coffee, shower gel etc We were opposite the halls of residence but heard no noise at all We had a 3 course evening meal Included in the room rate , this was in the bar and was delicious. Well presented, big portions and lovely food! Staff were very pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. Breakfast next morning was again delicious, I only saw fried eggs which I don't like but apparently you can request different eggs from the staff. Fruit/yogurts/croissant/cereals and cooked were all available. My only gripe was that we had to leave £25 deposit per room on a credit card. We were not aware of this and were not prepared. Luckily I had my card so paid all deposits, this should be forewarned. All in all a good stay, all staff were lovely and would definitely stay again . Only the 6 mins walk from Piccadilly station .

I booked this through a voucher website because there was a good deal which included breakfast, dinner and a glass of wine. The welcome we got was warm and friendly, our room was ready early so we were able to check in at lunch time. The room was small but it was very pleasant, suited our needs for the one night. In the restaurant I had fish and chips, my friend had pizza and both were lovely. Lots of choice at the buffet breakfast, very impressed.
