Arrived at the hotel and I was like wow! The hotel is situated right on the coast and has breathtaking views of the bay. Absolutely gorgeous. Just a little walk down to the way and youve got a beach at your disposal, just watch out for the jellyfish! The food was lovely and there was always a large selection to choose from. The drink was great also, you had to pay if you wanted something branded but if your all inclusive then that didn't matter cos' you could have as much as you want. 20 minute walk down into magaluf which wasn't too bad or 5 Euro in a taxi. The entertainment reps worked really hard. Would come back definitely.
This hotel is in a great location on a little cove about 10 mins down the road from Magaluf. If you wanted to visit there it would be easily done but it is far away enough that you don't feel like you're there if you don't want to be! The staff are friendly and the food (all-inclusive) is great. I'm vegetarian and there was lots of choice for me at each mealtime every day. The rooms are clean and modern. The pool area is a nice place to sit all day but be warned that there are towel wars here and you will need to get up at 8am every day to get a lounger as there aren't enough for everyone. We loved the little bar in the cave to the side of the hotel, this is a nice alternative if you don't want to listen to cabaret style entertainment all night. That said though, the entertainment was quite good and the reps clearly put a lot of effort into it all. The best thing about this hotel is no children!!!
Had a week here in September. Good Points Lovely view from the 11th floor room Staff friendly and work hard throughout the hotel Hotel is a real sun-trap. Room was spotless and free safe Other comments Food was plentiful but you get a bit bored after a week. The location of the hotel in the cove is fabulous, however outside the "front" of the hotel is a little tired and run down with little or nothing to attract you. You have to a bus or taxi ride to the nearest town for "life" outside the hotel. Hotel evening entertainment was a bit too "butlins" although you can escape from it to the lovely outdoor cave bar or the ground floor bar. Plenty of sunbeds, however the sunbed warriors are out as soon as the doors open to "bag" their spots, heaven forbid you might try and take a spot from somebody else!
I Stayed At This Hotel For A Week At The Beginning Of August with My Parents This Is My 3rd Time Visiting Mallorca I Havr Stayed In Many Places On The Island Wonderful Staff The Concierge Rosalia Was So Wonderful Always Smiling And Helpful Explaining Where Is A Good Bar To Go to Drink And Places To Visit it Is Within Walking Distance of Magaluf But The Area Of Cala Vinyes Is Quiet And Friendly Great Selection Of Food From Fresh Fish And Local Dishes To Pizzas And Salads will Be Back Again
Although the view was stunning we were disappointed with the hotel itself. Beds were so hard we didn’t sleep great. The rooms smelled of sewers and the food was average. We were there at the end of the season and they were packing away whilst they still had guest which made you feel in the way. Only one member of staff smiled during our stay. So will not be returning nor recommending.
Stayed for a week . First impression of hotel was very good , entrance and lobby were stunning and staff very helpful. Our room was a sea view on floor 8 , very clean and wonderful views ( onky downside no light on balcony ). Room was clean had small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Some parts of the hotel , hallways etc were a little dates but sort of added to the character .. We went for fully inclusive, breakfast and lunch always seemed better than evening meal apart from one evening where there were fresh cooked king prawns lovely !! Waiters were always friendly and helpful. Bar areas were nice, the cave bar was unique, the main downstairs bar had Evening entertainment ( all a bit cheesy ) but fun if you wanted to get involved!! We didn't venture out much, a walk into magaluf ( which was quiet due to time of year) and a walk to a fab cove , cap falco beach had a fab beach bar.. this holiday for us was a lovely chilled break and we would definatly consider coming here again
My husband and I stayed here for a week in October. The location is very quiet with just a bar, restaurant and shop nearby. Our check in was fast despite the large queue. The room was small but had everything you would need. The single beds pushed together wasn't ideal as many people have mentioned. The balcony was adequate. We had a sea view room which was worth the extra cost in my opinion. I felt there could have been better lighting in the room, it was hard to see when it got dark. The tv had a good amount of stations on it from different countries. The bathroom was nice with a bath and bidet. The sink had unit had plenty of space for your items. This was where i had to do my make up as it had better lighting. The food was excellent, much better than I had thought from reading reviews on here. I loved the appetisers in their own bowl/plate, there was a great selection. The food was all well labelled. Breakfast was very samey, nice, but samey. The fresh orange juice was gorgeous and there was cava every day at breakfast. The desserts were a disappointment but there was a chocolate fountain most nights. The poolside was nice with plenty of loungers. The pool as everyone mentions was far too deep and cold. The best thing was the proximity to the sea, ideal for jumping in off the pier and snorkeling. Boats came past occasionally and were not at all disruptive. It's a real suntrap and ideal for sunbathing. The path to the beach is really handy and the beach is lovely. The drinks are pretty bad unfortunately, but that's expected when it's local brands. The cocktails were nice and you could have any from the list on any day- not just the 'cocktail of the day' on that day. The snack bar was handy but the food wasnt great. It was a real shame you couldn't eat the food outside at the tables. For us the biggest disappointment was the entertainment. It was really dire the week we were there. The evening shows were awful. The entertainment crew seemed like lovely people but it really let the hotel down. The cave bar was a nice location but could have been utilised a lot better. The same goes for the piano bar. I think if you have 3 different locations for entertainment at night then it should be better and varied. The daytime entertainment was a bit lack lustre and similar each day. All in all we had a lovely time, but we wouldn't return unless the entertainment was improved.
Were to start, my wife and I spent 2weeks and loved every day we were on the seventh floor what a veaw spectacular . If you just want to relax and take in the views sunbathing ,swim in the sea snorkelling, go down to the beach or go for walks ( magaluff 20 mins away ). Cala vinas is the place to go. We stayed at the sentido Cala vinas it was brilliant . Could do with a face lift in some areas .our room was kept clean and tidy the cleaners were polite and cheerful.the food was lovely some food was repetitive but ther was anough chouses that it did not matter a wonderful team of chefs led by Sebastian trueba . The waiters wore smilies from start to finish and were always happy to assist in anyway weldon Chema your staff are a credit to you . Bar staff made the effort to get to now most of the guests and you were met with a big smile and a drink already for you thankyou Marino ,Francisco. Antonio, Pedro, Rafael for making our holliday a very enjoyable one. The entertainment team led by Liam with great support from Chelsea,Laurence and Danny. Worked there socks of all day and everning put on some good shows. All in all sentido should be proud of there staff . So if you want a nice relaxing holiday or night out in magaluff this is the place to come I now my wife and I will be back . Not a 5 star hotel but definitely a 5 star effort all round.
Location: Beautiful Hotel: Comfortable and very clean Room: Small and comfortable but who needs a huge room on holiday? If one critique the pillows are quite solid. Room cleaned daily. Food: The best All inclusive of had to date and the food counter is endless. We ate out one night but I preferred the hotel food myself. Pool: Stunning poolside location. Spotless, I did not see any litter. Located into the bay you can literally swap the pool for the sea in a few steps. Summary: did not know what to expect on arrival being the last guests of the season but pleasantly surprised that although the hotel was about to close the high standards of the staff remains 1st class. The food was great, alcohol was great and the location Beautifully located if you like the sea. Five minutes from Magaluf by taxi for a change of scenery but I could happily of stayed local. I would recommend this destination and Hotel to anyone who desires a relaxing break with beautiful views and nice food, drink and good entertainment. If you prefer to pick up on things like old wooden window frames rather than admire the view through the window then you are never going to be pleased. Thanks to the staff and Thomas Cook for a relaxing hassle free break in a fantastic location.
Visited on the 9th October for a six night stay . We were on the tenth floor , beautiful sea view , very quiet also . Only downside- twin beds . Lovely food, loads of choice . Bar near restaurant was a bit impersonal but would recommend the Blue bar . Pool was lovely , never that busy and really enjoyed the Aqua fit . Hotel is very close to a sandy cove , lovely swimming and we didn’t have any problem with jellyfish but I believe some had . On the whole would return and loved the fact it is Adults Only . P.s weather was fab when we were there.
