We stayed here last weekend. Before booking we checked if it had a restaurant where we could have dinner. We were flying out early the next morning. The hotel was a 10€ taxi from the bus station in Malaga and has a huge sign advertising their Restaurant. But It closes at the weekend. But they don't tell you until you are there. The nearest food was in a shopping centre, which was a tricky walk as the pavements are not completed. The Campanile is way overpriced given location, poor facilities. Max 75€
we stayed here one night as we had a morning flight the next day. Picked it because of it's close proximity to the airport but thats the only reason i would stay again. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the receptionist was helpful & said she could make us a pizza until midnight if we were hungry & drinks as well. The pizza was vile. it had some really vile smelly cheese & who knew how long it had been in the freezer. We had hot chocolate which was from a sachet! She just gave us a glass of hot milk to add the powder to. £13 this rubbish cost me. The room was adequate & a good size. No view to speak of. No toiletries & the bathroom door was one step away from the bed with a sliding door. The sealant in the bathroom was discoloured & the base of the bath tub seemed to be peeling. very worn bathroom. There was no mirror in the room so one of us had to wait until the other was finished with the bathroom mirror & no socket in the bathroom so was difficult straightening my hair in the morning. There were no spare pillows. the bed had one pillow & a cushion that had a horrible dirty looking cover. The bed was really firm & it got really hot during the night. There was a random door in the room & when i opened it the door to next door was there!!! Breakfast was limited & poor. The pastries were not fresh & seemed a bit stale. The hot breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs & some shrunken sausages. No fresh tea & coffee. Everything was out of the machine. There is a bus somewhere very close to the hotel but since we seemed to be in the middle of a deserted industrial estate we chose not to go looking for it. The airport was about 5 minutes away but the taxi driver added some kind of surcharge so it cost us €15!!!!
Convenient for the Airport (If you take the right turn off). Efficient staff. Good shower. Firm bed. Discoloration of sealant in shower. Ok for one night stay.Free parking. Best price around, so good value.Quiet.
Good place to stay coming or going at Malaga Airport, very pleasant and friendly staff. Rooms are very clean and have everything for an overnight stay, tea/coffee facilities, good bathroom and fast wifi.
This hotel was perfect for our needs and we have used it a number of times as a pit stop between flights. The rooms are clean and comfortable and you can get a bite to eat and a few drinks if you don't want to venture out of the hotel. If you do, however, there is a retail/leisure park within walking distance with numerous shops and restaurants. I also found the staff to be helpful here, offering to store our bags for a few days while we were away on business.
If you are staying at the hotel due to an early flight in the morning, it is close to the bus stop and is only 3 Euros for a single ticket. The rooms are fine for what you pay - it was just over 70 Euros for room and breakfast. Wifi good and you can connect up to five devices. The restaurant was open on the Saturday evening I stayed there and I had a buffet dinner. Quite good choice of food for just over 10 Euros. Very, very friendly staff.
We recently stayed here as we had an early flight the next morning. A nightmare to find and without our Sat Nav we would not have found it as Via Michelin directions not specific enough. Its hidden behind a petrol station!!!! However the room was clean, bright and comfortable with the added bonus of free tea & coffee facilities in the room. Unusual in Spain. Staff were friendly. Menu in restaurant limited. Free parking was a bonus.
We booked this hotel due to its close airport proximity and it pet friendly as we had adopted a dog in Spain and were flying him home. A drab grey exterior gave way to a green welcoming interior. I've stayed in campernile in the UK and they weren't as cosy as this. Basic yes. Budget yes. Friendly oh yes. Everyone was an animal lover. Even the cleaner stopped mopping to stroke the dog.
I Stayed here for one night before an early morning flight. During the check-in, which was a Saturday, I was told by the front desk staff that the restaurant was closed this night so having dinner was obviously not an option. As the hotel is located in the middle of an industrial area, there are very limited options for eating. The hotel bar was open, but they only served snacks or sandwiches. The room on the other hand was modern with a great shower. The bed was comfortable and gave a good night sleep. Wi-Fi was also good and included in the room price. The TV had many channels, but not one English speaking (or any other language than Spanish) which is remarkable in a hotel that turns to travelers. Altogether a hotel that is neither bad, nor good but for the price (only 57.00 Euro/night) I believe it is good enough for some people. But for me this will not be my first option next time I have to choose an hotel close to the airport in Malaga.
What a horrid experience. Actually the experience starts before you even get to the hotel. It's a few minutes' drive away from the airport - but the minimum taxi fare out of the airport is €20. And the same back the next morning. Scandalous. The characterless, prefabricated 'kit' hotel sits sandwiched between the motorway and a stinking open sewer. We read on the website that the hotel has a restaurant, and we had been looking forward to a meal and an early night prior to our early morning flight the next morning. But - guess what? - the restaurant is closed at the weekend! Great - so it was dinner at the other option - Burger King!!!!!!!!!!! ADVICE TO ANYONE FLYING FROM MALAGA AIRPORT - If possible plan your flight so you can stay in the city and use the excellent metro service to the airport. Even if the hotel may SEEM to cost more, just bear in mind that you have to add 40€ to your cost of a "cheap" room in the middle of a hideous wasteland.
