Holiday Inn Bristol Airport

Overnight stop

When we arrived at the hotel there was no record of our booking, however the front desk service was excellent and they were able to check us into a room while they contacted our booking site (rhymes with snorbitz.com) to resolve the problem. Room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. Watch out for the airport shuttle, no-one told us we were supposed to book a reservation, fortunately they were able to fit us on the bus anyway.

Novotel Cardiff Centre

One night in Cardiff

Felt we got our money's worth. Very pretty hotel with nice sized room. Had to walk to City Center, about 20 minutes. Nothing close to hotel for meals or anything else. Had to pay 10 pounds English for parking. I thought parking was included in hotel cost. Paid 10 pounds English for each of us for great breakfast. Well worth it..

Hilton Cardiff

Typical Hilton quality room

Very good experience. Nice hotel. Clean room. The 'castle view' was more of a 'castle wall view', but nice. Breakfast was very good and in a very nice setting. The staff is what really made it pleasant, though. A special nod to the porter who help load our bags into the car. Wish we could have spent more time here.

Cardiff Marriott Hotel

Very good hotel with lots of amenities

We moved to this hotel from a Radisson across the street (due to it being overbooked) and found it was a better location, cheaper, and with way better amenities. It had an awesome gym, pool, jacuzzi, and spa, and was tucked in right next to a beautiful mall and a ton of restaurants. Rooms were nice, nothing particularly special. My only real problem was that use of the wifi in the rooms was pretty expensive, which always surprises me in this day and age.
