Site and location was amazing. The concept is good but lacked some simple finishing touches which would have made the stay amazing. Our pod lacked shanpoo and shower gel. Towels were missing and staff did not knock to enter. Also just about all other guests left all their outside lights on all night. Which spoilt the outdoor natural view and night time ambience.

The natural beauty of Thailand

The location is absolutely stunning. I didn't know Thailand had any areas where the temperature was below 80 degrees F, or 27 degrees C. Lo and behold, this location gets down to 50 to 54 F, or 12 degrees C almost every night. When we were there it was rainy and chilly, but not cold. We ordered a BBQ for our tent/ room, along with enough food to cook for the next 5 to 6 hours right there in our balcony area. The BBQ not only cooked our food, but helped keep us warm as the temperature dropped throughout the night. As the fog rolled in that evening, the view was simply amazing as it went from clear to foggy and back to clear again. The service level is amazing and the staff is very friendly and is responsive to your needs. In the morning, there is a free breakfast with eggs, toast, fruit and juice to get your day started right. When we were there the weather didn't cooperate with our idea to go do some activities because it was rainy and overcast which led to us simply staying at our tent and patio and enjoying the view and each other's company. This ended up being the perfect thing to help us relax and get some long overdue rest and recovery. I wholeheartedly recommend Phu Marrin as a place to get back to nature and enjoy the natural beauty of Thailand's mountain ranges. Enjoy!

Staff where so helpful we actually booked a standard cabin but the advertised bath wasnt there she instantly upgraded us to a design tent with the outside bath. Aircon was very good a little to good. Breakfast was also quite good by thai standards and came with eggs toast and sausages in a buffet style. And coffee was free all day. Remember to grab some extra coffee or tea sachets for your room. Wifi isnt working currantly due to recent floods hope they fix this soon but apart from that nothing was to much trouble for them. Evening meals where slightly bland and need a bit more flavour, but hey where open to making me off menu items when i asked about it which was good. Views where lovely and as a platinium expedia member i would recommend this as a visit spot 😀 😊. I advise taking a small speaker for music. If your after a rural retreat with good views this is a good place to visit

Magnifique

Accueil et prise en charge excellent, les personnes sont aux petits soins. Les dômes sont des dômes dont l’isolation phonique très light. Les équipements corrects. En hiver il fait froid la nuit, la salle de bain est en extérieur. Le calme est appréciable et la vue du premier rang est à 180º, du lever de soleil au coucher avec en face la forêt ( magnifique). Seul point noir la distance avec Chiang Mai: 1h30 de voiture. Nous y sommes restés 7 nuits.
