Not sure if this is a chain of hotels, but our stay and experience at this hotel in 2,3 towns were more or less the same. Neatly maintained with clean rooms, bathrooms and beds. We were happy with the service too.
The hotel was excellent in terms of food, cleanliness and price. The staff was polite and helpful. The only thing about this hotel is that it is located quiet far away from the airport. The rooms are spacious.
Excellent hotel with all modern amenities available. Located in the centre of the city with equi-distant from the famous Meenakshi temple and Alagar Kovil. An excellent restaurant which serves a wide variety of cuisines. Availability of various transportation to go around at low cost is added advantage
We were here for lunch, four of us. Was not a pleasant experience. Thankfully, the restaurant is closing down for renovation from 15th June. The buffet was okay, but I was completely put-off with the sight of a rat racing around in the prime dining area, right below your feet. The staff apologised for this ' inconvenience '.. that's it?
You want to spend time with your family at weekend , with good cuisine and quality food, Then take a sneak peak at this Hotel ..:) Service was at it's best and price of food was affordable and good service overall :)
Superb hotel. This hotel will be closed from June 20th to next year June 2017 for renovation . Pros:Room size Sleeping comfort AC Location Entertainment Cons:Food taste,Wifi very poor connectivity This hotel offer swimming pool. Service should be fast .
Spent a night in this hotel last weekend. Overall fine but few things need improvement. Good things 1) Very good breakfast setup- 4 juice options, South Indian and continental breakfast 2) Rooms are spacious and comfortable 3) Nice spacious campus with pool, outdoor chess unit etc 4) few kms away from city centre but area is calm and traffic free. Things that need improvement 1) WiFi was not reliable. Works but very slow and often disconnects. Hotel should consider upgrading WiFi facility 2) Pool entry seem to be sold to outsiders also under the name of summer camp, lots of local residents with kids were crowding the at the pool on Sunday morning 3) breakfast, supposed to be ready at 7 AM, was ready fully by only 7.45 AM 4) Vidoecon DTH in my room was bit non intuitive, I couldn't figure out the guide button and couldn't navigate to news channel. Had to try random numbers. Factor 25% extra on top of list rental price for taxes and fees.
The hotel ambiance is good especially the entrance area which is neatly kept wit expensive light and chandelier fittings. Breakfast was good. But the tables were not cleaned properly. Had lot of remnants of previous night dinner. We were given room in the ground floor and was too noisy as there were many occupants and staff walking around. The room was okay and the bath room was too small and not very tidy.
This is nice located hotel to stay. Rooms are decorated and spacious. Bathroom has all the modern facilities. Room service is good. Restaurant is a lovely place to dine at. It's food quality is also good.
After the two hotels we stayed in on our trip this was somewhat disappointing. Service was slow. Reception- check in and check out was a total shambles. Not enough staff, though many bystanders. Pleasant staff but need to deal with one guest booking at a time not multiple guests! They gave no instructions on wifii/breakfast/meals etc just handed keys over - need to brief and communicate better. Had to ask for details. Fridge in room was not working - promptly replaced and later Jaccuzi was not working so deluxe room was not deluxe after all. Swimming pool was not clean and you have to go out of hotel to enter pool area. So overall not impressed with hotel. Location is good and building- decor good. Food was also mediocre. Has potential to be 4 starred but would rate as 2/3. If visiting Meenakshi Temple, take a guided tour as its a huge temple and definitely worth getting a guide. Also do ask about the shrine in the market opposite the huge Nandi where you can climb up to the top and get an ariel view of the temple. We would not have known had it not been for the guide. Another must see is the Gandhi Museum in Madurai- one of the best Gandhi museums we have seen. Avoid lunch period as it closes for lunch and you will need some time to see the excellent collection. I could have stayed longer for sure!
