It's really like having your own small apartment (although not so small) in Madrid. It is conveniently located if you don't mind walking that extra 10 minutes to get to the more interesting spots. You have a mini fridge and a washing machine, and there's a big supermarket 5-10 minutes walk. The room was clean and comfortable. No complain.
Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and 2 children, aged 8 and 5. Room was clean on arrival and had ample space for the 4 of us. Was good to have a seperate bedroom whilst the children slept on the sofa bed. There was only one duvet and 5 pillows, husband and I like 2 each and 1 each for the Children. Asked for another at reception but was advised none were available. The lack of a second duvet wasn't really an issue due to the temperature. Both rooms had air conditioning which was a necessity for us. The television had a variety of channels which included an English speaking kids tv channel (on the whole) which the children enjoyed after a hot, busy day out. Reception staff were helpful with directions and provided further toiletries as required. This hometown was very central and well placed for our needs. Prior to arrival I emailed staff asking for directions to the hotel and was provided with a prompt and helpful response. In my opinion this is a basic apartment which is well placed and all we needed for our trip. Would stay again in the future should we return to Madrid.
Fabulous, large room great for a family. Kitchenette with a bottle of water and provisions to make yourself a hot drink on arrival which was most welcome as we arrived late. Decor is really individual and quirky which we loved. View from our window was onto a block of flats but the apartment was lovely and cool because it was in an old building. It was a bit hard to find initially ( in the dark!) but once you have found it, you realise it is really central! We were really impressed with the woo hotel concept and wish there were more in big cities!
Nice place but toiletries limited to shampoo and shower gel. Extremely thin walls: we could hear everything going on in the neighbouring rooms. Could've been a bit cleaner. However, it was nice to have a little kitchen and the kitchen was really well equipped. Good location.
This was a great base to explore Madrid. Within walking distance of most of the sights. Located near the Palace and Plaza d Espanya. Well kept apartment with all you need to stay including complimentary water / washing machine tablets etc. Replacements given if you ask at reception. There is a. Little bit of a language barrier but staff were very helpful and we managed. We booked their transport to the airport and were transported in luxury by private car by a driver who was extremely punctual for our very early morning flight. Worth a visit to The Palace . It's free after 6pm bring your passport.
Excellent they have a free Wi-Fi with the €50 deposit. Centrally located to Plaza Real and all the local spots. Parking is €20 a day. Three restaurants right outside the door. Comfortable bed and pull out couch. Slept 2 adults and 2 grown children great. Like all of Spain the walls are thin but it wasn't too much of a bother. There is a washing machine inside of the unit so we were able to wash our clothes. The reception isn't open 24hrs so make sure you check what time you get in. There is an auto check in but the reservation has to be in the correct name. Like I couldn't check in for my spouse. I loved the residence.
We booked a one bedroom apartment with a pull-out sofa bed and one bathroom for two adults and two children, and we stayed there for five nights. Check in was really fast, and the people at the reception were very helpful and very friendly. We also had a terrace, and a view of the royal palace. The location of this place is very close to the Plaza de España and Principe Pio metro stations, royal palace, restaurants and there is a bus stop right outside the door. I would definitely come back again.
It was very spacious. can fit 4 adult comfortably. large bathroom. i love large bathroom. enough space for kitchen. we dont cook, so its ok. got dining room and also living room with tv. secured hotel. we had a good sleep for 1 night stay in this homtel. always feel like home.
This Homtel is a perfect choice for a first time visitor of Madrid. Location is great just opposite the Royal Palace and about 400 meters of Gran Via street and Plaza de Espania metro station. Walking distance to most of the tourist sights in the centre. Staff is very very friendly and helpful. Limited working time (8:00 am to 2:00 am Mon-Sat and less on Sun) of front desk is not a problem at all as the hotel provides instructions for easy self-check in if arrival time is outside of working hours. In addition, there is an online chat on hotel's website which is absolutely helpful. Our Deluxe exterior apartment for four people was facing the Royal Palace. It consisted of a bedroom with double bed (good ortho mattress!!!), double folding sofa in the living room, a large table in the dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Bear in mind that there is no cleaning service for stays up to 5 days unless you don't pay an additional tax. Cleaning kit is provided. Our overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
We found it through Expedia at a great rate. The homtel is perfect for everything you need. Rooms are clean and quiet. Has a kitchen, washer, couch. Perfect place to stay for traveling people. It's walking distance to the museums and plazas. Not in a tourist area so it is very relaxed. Would stay here again!
