I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room was comfortable and clean with the modern accessories that one finds in high class hotels. The bar service was good and courteous. On the downside, there was a slight mix up on my check in, I ended up in a room on the first floor that I was informed was quiet. This was not the case! There were also many tv channels to choose from, but no UK channels at all. Overall though, I would stay at this hotel again.

Had an excellent time in the hotel for two nights. The renovation has been done to a great standard. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the quality of food in the bar area is excellent. We had breakfast there and also a number of small beers with tapas. Definitely go again

Great hotel which is stylish and modern. Rooms were spotless with great bed linen. Staff were efficient at check in and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast offered a great choice. One criticism - please have English Breakfast tea available at breakfast time, we ended up buying a box and taking it down with us. Fancy teas are all well and good but nothing beats a proper cup of tea!

A central location minutes from Plaza de España metro line 10, easy from the airport. Check in is efficient, the interior stylish and a quiet room and comfortable bed. Good self service breakfast. Don’t bother bringing your kit, the nearby gym (advertised as free to hotel guests) is limited hours at the weekend. If it rains heavily (hopefully a rare occurrence) a lack of drying facilities means you may end up stringing your wet clothes on hangers from your bedroom ceiling with the room heating on full blast. Despite these minor hiccups this hotel is excellent value and I’d come again.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Nice bathroom with good shower. Comfortable bed. Excellent bar area with very reasonable priced drinks. Staff very helpful and friendly and good knowledge of area. Good location with lots of places nearby to visit. Would definitely recommend staying here.

What a lovely hotel, beautiful, clean, warm comfortable, and great wi-fi, situation in central Madrid and next to tube. Breakfast was €15 Euro but at least it was quality. Air con in the rooms coffee/ tea etc it was just a great stay and the Royal Palace was just around the corner, and great places to eat nearby.

I tried to make several reservations to the hotel but their website had an error. Tried calling the reception and the accounting department of the hotel to make sure I was not charged - they just hang up the call. Don't risk your money - book another hotel.

The wife and I recently stayed in this hotel for 2 nights at the beginning of February. The location of this hotel is perfect. It’s only a short walk, about 3 minutes, from plaza de Espana metro station and all of Madrid’s major attractions are within walking distance too. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. Overall the hotel was very quiet and the room we stayed in was a good size. Rooms included a mini bar, flat screen TV,Safe, free WiFi that works and a kettle with tea and coffee. The bed was 2 singles pushed together and very comfortable. A nice touch was the USB charging points provided on each bedside table for charging phones/ tablets. The only negatives I found was that the Air Conditioning in our room didn’t work as well as I’d of liked and our room was often hot and difficult to cool down. Also they only provide 2 milks with the kettle meaning that if you wanted more than 2 white coffees you had to get extra milk form the bar. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again when visiting Madrid.

The plus: Friendly staff. Central location. Medium price range. Modern standard. Good AC and wifi. Quiet location. Comfortable bed and spacious room. The negative: Room service forgot to refill coffee in our room. Water leakage from the shower unto the bathroom floor. Sound isolation could be better, and it would really help with dampening on the doors as some guests can't close a door properly without trying to tear it down while slamming it shut so the noise goes through your soul. All in all satisfied though.

The best thing about the hotel is the location - walking distance from Plaza de Espana, Gran Via, Debod Temple and if you like walking - even Peurta del Sol. All transport options are nearby - bus stops and metro. Rooms were fine, well equipped and mostly clean. I say 'mostly' because we stayed here twice during our Spain trip. The first time around we did not find any issues with the quality of room cleaning. The second time around - the level of cleaning was not up to the mark. The breakfast buffet had a reasonable - though not too elaborate spread. However the dine in menu is very very limited. Even when very tired - we preferred stepping outside to eat dinner rather than eat in. That was not too much of a problem since there are a lot of eating out options nearby. We had read about the tradition on eating 12 grapes on new years and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel giving them out to the guests. Overall a good value hotel.
