I stayed here five nights for a meeting at the hotel and rarely left the hotel. It very much met my needs. In addition to the meeting, I had a lot of work to do and was comfortable doing so at the desk in the room. The room was decent-sized and I liked the way the bathroom was a bit separate from the room. The hotel and room were very clean. Because of my work, I ordered room service several times and the food (as well as that for the meeting) was really delicious. Breakfast buffet is pretty amazing! The meeting space was very good as well.

I had an excellent holiday with my kids during my business trip to Madrid. This hotel can serve for both business and family trips with all the facilities that provided and the central location it has. My kids enjoyed “the kids club” and we all enjoyed our stay all in all with the help of the friendly stuff who is ready to help and assist with special thanks to Mr.Salah from the front desk for being so kind. I spent two nights here for a meeting with the UNWTO which is literally about 100 metres away. I took advantage of an offer to book the Executive Floor, which was an inspired choice as it permits breakfast in a separate, quiet area. The range of breakfast food was more than acceptable, and the two staff were young, spoke good English, very helpful and efficient. They were quite charming! My room was excellent - spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable bed and fast wifi.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It is near the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and a short cab or train ride to the Plaza Mayor and the Palace. The hotel rooms are charming and the staff is helpful, friendly and professional. Cesar at the front made desk made sure that some final details were taken care of and assured that we made it to the airport on time with no challenges. You won't be disappointed with this lovely hotel.

I highly recommend staying in Melia Castilla. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very big and clean. The breakfast is very delicious. I want to thank also Salah who is always ready to help.

My second time in Madrid and choosing the Melia Castilla was a last minute choice that paid off. Me and my mate decided to upgrade to a superior room instead of the Premium one we had booked as the superior are newly renovated. The room was nicely arranged on the 10th floor, it was clean with comfortable beds with tea and coffee as well as ironing board if needed. The shower is simply brilliant with privacy if sharing the room. The hotel has a really luxury vibe with many eateries and 2 metro lines near to get to the centre in under 30 minutes. Breakfast had a lot of choices and service was very good. A little dust in the room and bathroom not as spotlessly clean as i expected was a downer for me and for the high prices they should provide free water in the room as other hotels in the same price range do. This hotel is near Real Madrid stadium and great for football fans. Overall i loved my experience and the late checkout we were offered was what sealed my coming back here in the future. Thank you Esther and the Lady who checked us in. Great service.

Luxuries hotel, we had business event and stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel property is so nice, mix of modern and antique decor. Employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Metro station is nearby and Santiago Bernabéu Stadium by walking distance.

Nice hotel with all the amenities expected of a 4 star place, including restaurant, bar, gym, etc. Room was very nice, if slightly out dated. Staff was very kind and helpful. Great pick for business stay!

Melia is rated as a 4 star hotel and this is where I would rate it. It is what I expected in a hotel of this size. It’s very big but still manages personal service. There are a LOT of staff in the reception and foyer area. Reception staff all speak excellent English and concierge staff were especially helpful in booking me into a cooking class and then directing me there when there was a Metro strike. The room was not overly large but it had a hall which gave a feeling of space. There was a desk and a table. The bathroom was very large. The gym was very well-equipped and self-contained, although I would have liked some lighter handweights, and perhaps English subtitles on at least one one of the tv’s. There are a couple of eating places within the complex. We ate twice at the bistro next to the Bar. The food was quite tasty, if unremarkable. Like most Spanish food it was way too salty for our taste. The lobby coffee shop served excellent coffee, accompanied by little pastries. Melia is very well-located. It is walking distance to several Metro stations and close to a number of eating places.

I had a convention at this hotel the hotel staff were great both at the check in and the check out. The rooms themselves are a bit small but clean. the corridors are a bit old and the carpet needs to be replaced in some areas. I mentioned this to the staff and they made a note of it. The hotel is situated away from the center of town but there are plenty of places within walking distance. The breakfast was very good and plenty full with lots of choices.
