The hotel is in a fun, central location. The staff made every effort to accommodate our needs in a quick and pleasant manner. I highly recommend this charming, older hotel.

Excellent in Hotel in Madrid in a great location. Breakfast and pool were awesome!

Perfect locations , in downtown Madrid , the pool and amenities at roof That's George's clean and great comfort

When I saw the pictures of this hotel and its location, I thought it was for me, what a disappointment. This hotel is so overrated. Yes, the lobby is pretty, but I am not going to sleep in the lobby HELLO. My husband and I stayed in room 708 and when we saw the bed, we almost started to cry. The bed is so old that you feel you're sitting/sleeping on wires. The bed is sunk in and dangerous because it has no more comfort, its only WIRES. Its very dangerous. I have travelled all over the world, and I must say that this bed takes the crown, its only wires and very dangerous, it needs to be replaced at once. Also, the pillows are so old that the color is faded, from what they looked to me, I think that they should have been green, but its hard to tell now. I was so disgusted with the bed and pillows that I covered the bed and pillows with scarfs I purchased, I was afraid of getting an infection or getting bitten by bed bugs. Its NASTY. The pool is not human friendly, is so deep that you can only be swimming, not relaxing and enjoying. Also, keep in mind that is on the rooftop and it gets super hot up there. The hours of the pool are till 8pm, so you will never be able to see the city from the terrace at night. Breakfast is just ok, a bit expensive for the choices. You can easily get coffee and a croissant for 5 euros elsewhere. We stayed July 16 - 20, 2017. Would not recommend this hotel. UGLY ROOMS and very worn beds.

The only problem that we hade was the AC, Expell some mold odor from vents an we have to turn it off, the staff was very king, they try to fix it but the problem stay there, so no AC. The hotel offer us to change the room but for just one night we decide to stay After that all great, very recomended, great location, wonderfool terraza and pool

Rooftop pool is beautiful. The only disappointment is that their restaurant on the roof closes too early. Hotel is a bit older but pool makes it worth it.

Great location in downtown Madrid also the staff was great, especially after suffer an ACL sprain, let me use a wheelchair for four days.

We found this hotel to be comfortable, very well located on the main drag--La Gran Via. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

We arrived at 8am local time from the states and they were able to check us in within an hour or so... The staff was very helpful!

We arrived before check-in time and hotel worked hard to get our room ready early for us. Very nice of them !

Great experience. Nice stuff , nice breakfast room . Great service

Great everything.location hotel staff pool.room amenities

Great overall experience. Want to come back again soon

The room was nice and had a very pleasant ambience. The rooms were a comfortable size, we were expecting it to be smaller and were pleasantly surprised. The location was within a 10-20 minute walking distance of anywhere we ended up going. The hotel staff was nice enough. On the last day, the front desk person that checked out out was a little rude, but I guess for European standards, we'll take it. Overall, we feel like we got a good deal for what we paid.

Wonderful location. Staff extremely helpful and very courteous. Room comfortable and clean. Only drawback was having to pay for Internet access. Fabulous roof top pool with great bar service. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel in Madrid has a great location. Easy walk to Puerto Del Sol, and the palace. and Dunkin Donuts, is across the street... just don't bring it into the hotel lobby, they don't like that. The staff was okay, not overly friendly, but not unfriendly. Very Clean, convenient, and nice, althought the mattress' could be a LOT better... but okay for a couple nights. Loved Madrid.

I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. Staff was wonderful and the location amazing.

While the hotel room was o.k. - it was nothing special, What irritated us about our stay was that the reception was not very service oriented. We were given a room with 3 twin beds when we had requested a king size bed + a single- and they basically told us to put the 2 twin beds together. Then- when we got to the room and it smelled like smoke- we called to complain and they told us the room was "non-smoking" and sent a maid up to spray perfume. On the plus side- the pool and the view from the pool is very nice.

We spent 5 days in Madrid and this hotel was extremely well situated. It is close to everything and, overall, we had a great experience there. The rooftop pool was a GREAT place to take a break between all the sight-seeing. The only thing that I would change is that the breakfast was way too expensive (19 Euros a piece) so we didn't try it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We did it all!! Great convenient location made it easy to hop on and off the Metro and the Madrid Vision buses ( I highly recomend these) and walking distance to everything you could think of.. could see the palace and cathedral from the pool area. MOST of the staff was very helpful...hey, you can't have it all. It was overall an EXCELLENT experience.

Dear Isabel, We regret to hear that you had such a terrible experience during your stay here . We are really surprised for your comments about the bed although we understand that perhaps the bed it is not the one your are used to Regarding the pillows I would like to inform you that our pillows are new and totally white, the green colored pillows you mentioned are decoration cushions in velvet Our rooms were re-decorated last February About the swimming pool and roof top, this is the extra mile of the Hotel and our guests reviews show it. Anyway, all the team will work as always to assure the best service to all our guests as they use to do for decades. Best regards, Pilar Lopez Leon Rooms Division Manager
