We arrived at 8am local time from the states and they were able to check us in within an hour or so... The staff was very helpful!
We arrived before check-in time and hotel worked hard to get our room ready early for us. Very nice of them !
Great experience. Nice stuff , nice breakfast room . Great service
Great everything.location hotel staff pool.room amenities
Great overall experience. Want to come back again soon
The room was nice and had a very pleasant ambience. The rooms were a comfortable size, we were expecting it to be smaller and were pleasantly surprised. The location was within a 10-20 minute walking distance of anywhere we ended up going. The hotel staff was nice enough. On the last day, the front desk person that checked out out was a little rude, but I guess for European standards, we'll take it. Overall, we feel like we got a good deal for what we paid.
Wonderful location. Staff extremely helpful and very courteous. Room comfortable and clean. Only drawback was having to pay for Internet access. Fabulous roof top pool with great bar service. We would definitely stay here again.
This hotel in Madrid has a great location. Easy walk to Puerto Del Sol, and the palace. and Dunkin Donuts, is across the street... just don't bring it into the hotel lobby, they don't like that. The staff was okay, not overly friendly, but not unfriendly. Very Clean, convenient, and nice, althought the mattress' could be a LOT better... but okay for a couple nights. Loved Madrid.
I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. Staff was wonderful and the location amazing.
While the hotel room was o.k. - it was nothing special, What irritated us about our stay was that the reception was not very service oriented. We were given a room with 3 twin beds when we had requested a king size bed + a single- and they basically told us to put the 2 twin beds together. Then- when we got to the room and it smelled like smoke- we called to complain and they told us the room was "non-smoking" and sent a maid up to spray perfume. On the plus side- the pool and the view from the pool is very nice.
We spent 5 days in Madrid and this hotel was extremely well situated. It is close to everything and, overall, we had a great experience there. The rooftop pool was a GREAT place to take a break between all the sight-seeing. The only thing that I would change is that the breakfast was way too expensive (19 Euros a piece) so we didn't try it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We did it all!! Great convenient location made it easy to hop on and off the Metro and the Madrid Vision buses ( I highly recomend these) and walking distance to everything you could think of.. could see the palace and cathedral from the pool area. MOST of the staff was very helpful...hey, you can't have it all. It was overall an EXCELLENT experience.
Great location. Typically small European room but reasonably comfortable.
Great place. However disappointed in the lack of basic TV access and internet without extra fees, just for news and basic communication needs.
We spent 5 days in Madrid. The location of the hotel was great and very central to shopping and dining. We did not spend much time in the hotel becuase we were visiting my Daughter who is studying in Madrid. The Hotel was clean and the staff was courteous. They spoke English and were very helpful. The room was clean and plenty of towels and closet space.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was located quite centrally in downtown Madrid. Although our room was small we had a lovely view in the one window we had. A bath tub and a separate shower was an added luxury.
You must understand people at each country to understand service. This is a great hotel with great service for Madrid. Excellent location near to a lot of important locations (Puerta Del Sol, Cibeles, Gran Via, etc) stores (El Corte Ingles, Preciados Street), at least 3 Metro stations/lines within walking distance. Excellent breakfast whether your package includes it or not. Last year I chose Best Western for my stay (about two blocks away) considering that I'm a member of the Gold Club. Never again.
the hotel is located in the heart of madrid 5 to 10 min walk to plaza mayor and el cote ingles and restaurant all around
We only had two days in Madrid, the location of the hotel was important for us to be able to see as much as we could in a short time. The front desk helped find restaurants and gave good directions for getting around. We also got up graded and was able to take advantage of the relaxing concierge level. Free drinks and snacks after a long day of sightseeing was really enjoyable.
The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful with arranging activities around the city. Thumbs up on the service.
