This hotel is located in a quiet small street but close to Granvia shopping area where is really convenient to go around. It was a little bit difficult to find the place at first. There is also another hostal on the same floor which I was a bit confused when I got there. In the building has elevator to go up to the hotel floor. That is good for traveler with big luggages. The staffs are friendly. I couldn't check in before 2pm but I could drop the luggages at hotel and walk around the city which in not bad at all. The room is nice and cozy and bed is really comfy also have aircond in the room which is good for summer in Madrid. I would have come back here again if I visit Madrid.

Nice place to stay in Madrid. Close to the center and to the metro station. The bathroom is quite small but it is clean. They are also coming to clean the rooms every day if you wish so. Very nice stuff.

This was my first hostel stay in my life, and my expectations were blown away. Not only was this hostel affordable, but at a very good location in Madrid city center. The staff were also very friendly, and spoke English which is a huge thumbs up as it helped a lot! The area is very safe, and very quite even for its location. There are many small cafes and bars around the area, so a late drink, and a breakfast was never an issue.

Good: - Central location, near to the metro station (Santo Domingo) and Gan Via Boulevard. - clean room - good wifi - Close to a supermarket Carrefour express. Bad: - a nightmare location if you want to sleep. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the corridor and from outside . basically you feel like you are sharing the room with the neighbors.Very, very noisy hostal. - small bathroom -the room it has a very small window. If you are claustrophobic then....bad luck for you :) - reception does not speak English, at all... for us it was not such a big problem.

Arriving in Madrid on a hurry mood, we booked and the guy who answered us promised us to be present when we will arrive. But we had then to wait almost 30 min before he arrived and did not even excuse himself. Then his first focus was that we should pay before. In the domain of services, guests after more than 25 hours trip back home, just want to leave luggage somewhere first. And it is a bit annoying when a hotel manager focus on that you should pay before as if you were to run away with his money. Later, the room was with a very old Air Conditioner making noise and avoiding us to sleep. Finally we had to choose between having AC and noise or sleeping in the hit without noise. At least they had WIFI.

I enjoyed very much my stay at Foster Madrid. The room was clean, the staff very kind, the wi-fi worked very well. My room was small but had everything I needed. They have no breakfast room but served me breakfast in the room. I will definetly be back!!!

I would highly recommend this place! It's not luxurious but it is comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The location is great, very close walking distance to lots of great restaurants and bars and 3 metro lines all very close. Only criticism I have is that the street it very noisy at night.

It may well have been that we got the worst room in the place, but I'm struggling to recommend Hostel Foster. The location is great, the bed comfortable, it was reasonably clean. However we were beside a building site where it sounded like they were pumping concrete at 6am, whatever they were doing, I would challenge anyone to sleep alongside! We also had the noisy air conditioning unit which supplied another room at our window. I guess once the construction in the building beside is finished, it will be ok, but avoid room 6!

The staff is very nice and helpful. They upgraded us to a small flat on the top floor. It was quite acceptable and clean. Might need a small do over. The location is perfect to visit Madrid. We walked almost everywhere. Although it's central it's in a quiet street. Overall good experience. Nothing exceptional. Just the internet was bad. It worked the first day but the other 3 was impossible to check even an email.

Normal for Madrid quality / price ratio. Supermarket located near the end of hotel street. Walking distance to the center 15 minutes, to the nearest metro station Santo Domingo - 2 minutes. Interior of the hotel suits more for girls, everything is pink, smell of perfume etc. cons: The rooms are small, the sink in the bathroom has the size of a sheet of A4 paper.
