Great place. Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Nothing fancy but covers the basics.
Great staff and comfortable clean room, quiet good internet reception and they gave us $10 Casino play money each.
Front desk staff were friendly, extremely helpful and kind. Allowed us to extend into a late checkout and were so pleasant in answering and addressing all of our questions. We will be back!
Freindly staff. Relaxing hot tub & pool. Decent morning breakfast. I would recommend this for a quick overnight getaway.
Overall the stay was fine, we weren't at the hotel a ton. The room seemed clean and we didn't have any major issues. The hotel staff left a lot to be desired, though. Check in was extremely slow, despite being the second person in line. On three separate occasions, we could not find anyone at the front desk. One of our room keys was not activated properly so it was not working and we needed it fixed. Breakfast was decent, as far as hotel breakfasts go.
Beds were hard and very uncomfortable. Kids running up and down the hallways until well after midnight. Room on the side facing the interstate had a lot of traffic noise.
2 vending machines on site both out of order. No bottled water on site . Breakfast was a joke 4 containers of yogurt no waffles or eggs out of order sign on the warming trays .
Terrible experience, poor rooms accomadations and poor service....quite a different hotel experience iwth what must be new management.
Rude staff, rooms were not clean, no manager on site, therefore there is no one held accountable for issues.
Staff was very polite and friendly. Quick check in, professional and kind.
Slept well. Did not have time to stay for breakfast as we had to get on the road quickly.
I was in town for a concert and the hotel was a pleasant surprise. The staff was helpful and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I can remember.
Arrived at hotel on Thanksgiving day. Employees were enjoying holiday with their family/friends which I thought was great by the hotel management. The next day the lady at the reception desk was the same as afternoon prior...at the time she was working for 17 hours straight. I admired her work ethic, but questioned the management ability to get her a replacement. Cleanliness of hotel was adequate, especially for Holiday time.
arrived early evening to find only front desk employee smoking with friends just outside front door. guests smoking in side stairwell also and locked door open with a rock. overall fairly clean, basic room, could not get wifi working, nice workout area, hearty breakfast included.
Room was clean, very large and well priced. The staff was very friendly too. The gym leaves something to be desired, but for the price I wasn't even expecting a gym. Breakfast was simple but tasty.
Cross country trip from FL to MN. It was the last hotel we stayed at on our trip and was the grossest yet most expensive of all hotels. Checked in about 8 pm. Two men ahead of me checking in, then when I got to counter, the worker helped the person on the phone and at same time started helping another checked in customer who had gotten the wrong room. Finally got checked in after about waiting for 10 min. Only 1 person at counter, but she was pleasant. Hallway carpet was stained and dirty, looked like it wasn't vacuumed for a week. Room had a strange odor (almost like pet urine) but was too exhausted to go ask for another room. Only 2 pillows on each bed which were balled up like basketballs and hard as rocks to sleep on. Gym equip beat up, water cooler but no cups. Bathroom in room was gross, water stained door and some disgusting goo on the blow dryer. I almost puked in my mouth when I grabbed it to dry my hair. Free breakfast was pretty good, except the bananas were all brown with fruit flies flying around. The gentleman working the breakfast area was very kind, friendly and helpful. He even killed the huge spider that my son saw by the table. Overall terrible experience and way over priced. Staff was friendly but should have had an extra person help check in.
The Magnuson Grand Hotel is a beautiful Hotel, great location, nice staff members, and a pleasant stay! The rooms are clean and nice!!
this was a Wynngate back in the day but is still a nice clean quiet place to stay
The hotel stunk of paint and was all torn up. Hopefully the upgrades will take it out of the 80's. Staff was fine but the hotel is currently not worth the price. It would be nice if the current status of the hotel was displayed on The site.

Hello, I would like to apologize about your recent experience at our property. I can assure you that these are not typical issues that we run into at Magnuson Grand. We do not have waffles, however we do have a really great alternative, which is the pancake machine. The vending machine issue was brought to managements attention, and has since been resolved. We would love for you to visit us again in the future, so please let us know what else we could have done to make your stay more enjoyable. Sincerely, Natasha Stankovich Sales Coordinator/AGM
