Location was genuinely excellent, putting us right where we wanted to be to enjoy the city. The renovations were clearly well-executed; the unit felt fresh and modern, which was a big plus. Madison itself is a fantastic town, and this property served as a great home base.
What We Liked
* Location: The property's proximity to local attractions and amenities couldn't be beat.
* Renovations: The updates to the unit were very well done, making the space comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
* Weekend Quiet: We were relieved to find that the local road construction was paused on the weekend, allowing for quieter daytime hours when we were at the property.
Areas for Improvement
* Internal Noise: While the street noise was disclosed and expected, the noise from surrounding units was quite annoying. This wasn't due to partying or loud tenants, but rather regular living noises like floor creaks and general sounds of neighbors, suggesting minimal soundproofing between units.
* Building Access: The entry doors to the building were consistently difficult to open and shut. This was a minor but recurring frustration when coming and going.
* Parking Confusion: Due to the nearby road construction, the parking situation was confusing upon arrival. Clearer signage or more explicit instructions regarding the current parking arrangement would be very helpful.

Good location downtown. We liked that we could walk everywhere. Room was clean but had a musty smell. No towels were in the room when we checked in but the maids closet was open so we just grabbed some.
