Fast, friendly check-in. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable.

Convenient and close to Alliant Energy Center...can totally walk it

We had a great stay at the Comfort Inn. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I was very pleased with the location, the friendly people at the desk, especially Victor and Dan? and we had a fabulous room. It was large with a lot of light and a view of the lake. I would have liked if the breakfast included some plain yogurt and berries, raisins, nuts, etc. to put in it.

The hotel was good but our room smelled like cigarette smoke

We were only in Madison for 1 night while my daughter visiting the University of Wisconsin campus. We were looking for a low cost option, since we would hardly be in the room at all. I generally like Comfort Inns -- they are basic, but clean and have amenities. This one had all that. I will say that the weakest part of the stay was the breakfast. It was really awful, with limited choices and sub par food.

I have stayed at this hotel before when it was owned by another chain It has been remodeled & is up to par with other area hotels. Great improvements to the fitness room with new machines and added space. It's a perfect location if you are headed to UW.

Traveling to Madison with family and we needed a nice hotel for just one night. The two beds were very comfortable. We didn't really use much else during the stay. Staff was very friendly. Only one "bump": I reserved the hotel as a HI-X. When we called on the day of the reservation, it was shocking to learn it was a CI. No one bothered to notify me of the change. But the hotel stay was fine, whatever the name on the building was.

This hotel offers a typical Holiday Inn Express kind of stay. Comfortable beds, free breakfast with a pretty good variety of food (although it was quite a busy place over the weekend we visited), good value. We had one king room and one queen room (2 queen beds). The queen room was much bigger, and we had lots of room to stretch out. The location is perfect. Easy 5-10 minute drive to campus and downtown. Note, they are building a brand new Holiday Inn Express just on the other side of the Sheraton, and this one will be re-branded as a Comfort Inn.

Very clean and best continental breakfast I have ever had.

This was a great value for a room! I checked in during happy hour (free drinks and food) and was surprised at the quality of the room for the price. The staff couldn't be nicer, actually if I had one slight negative it was only that housekeeping was persistent in wanting to clean my room in the morning. A good problem to have, I just should have put my do not disturb sign out. Newly renovated...nice!

Friendly and helpful and it was very close to all of our needs and highways. They have a continental breakfast and our relatives stayed at the Sheraton and they did not and were cheaper.

Good clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, accommodations met my expectations, good parking available. Enjoyed my stay.

Stayed at the hotel in Oct. '11. Not the best HIE that I've ever been to, but it was ok. The facility is a little dated, but kept basically clean. The breakfast and happy hours were fine as usual. The next time I'm in Madison, I will most likely look for a nicer place.

It was nice. A little dated but over all very nice breakfast and staff!

Nice and clean rooms. Continental Breakfast was a great way to start the day. Fairly close to Downtown Madison.

The hotel was nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was tidy and clean. The bathroom fan was very noisy and didn't work very well. The light and the fan was all in one so you couldn't use the bathroom light without the noisy fan. The coffee pot took over a half an hour to brew 4 cups. Possibly needs to be replaced. [...]

The staff was friendly and helpful. The continetal breakfast was excellent and the room was spotless.

Good experience similar at your other locations.

We stayed here to attend horse fair at Alliant energy center across the street.2 other hotels next to this ione offered shuttle acroos street, frig, micro in rooms w/2 queen beds, coffee all day long.Had a cot for son,but room was so tiny he had to crawl over the bed to get out.Won't stay here again, numerous other Horse Fair attendees w/ same complaint.
