Lovely comfortable space

Lovely characterful property, with nice lounge and dining area, well equipped kitchen & private outside space which was a great suntrap, just off the kitchen. The apartment is in the basement of the main house, which is set in a private gated garden so secure. The lovely dog Ziggy got used to us straight away & we had no trouble going in and out of the gate. It's a bit of a hill to get up to the house from old town, but that's typical of Funchal I would say. It's only a 8 minute walk to the Farmers market and lots of the sights, so for us, perfectly located.

Die Wohnung ist sauber und in einem guten Zustand! Die Schlafzimmer und das Bad sind modern eingerichtet. Auch das geräumige Wohnzimmer ist gemütlich eingerichtet.Die Vermieterin kümmert sich sehr gut und steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.Die Wohnung befindet sich am Berg. Für ältere Leute ist der Weg runter zum Meer zu Fuß beschwerlich oder ggf. unmöglich. Für jüngere Touristen ist der Weg problemlos zu bewältigen, aber auch kein Spaziergang.

Wir waren vom ersten Augenblick in die Wohnung verliebt, denn sie ist sauber, riesig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sie Gastgeberin, Luisa, befand sich zwar in Urlaub, aber war immer für uns zu erreichen und nach ein paar Tagen hat uns ihr Mann sofort bei einem kleinen Defekt der Duschtür geholfen.Wir würden immer wieder diese Wohnung mieten. Man muss jedoch wissen, dass Funchal an einen Berg gebaut ist und auch diese Wohnung einen steilen Anstieg zu Fuß mit sich bringt… hat uns abends immer in Wallung gebracht, aber trotzdem gerne wieder!

Appartement bien situé dans Funchal, proche de la voie rapide. Hôtes très accueillant d'un contact facile car ils parlent notre langue. Très bon séjour dans cette ile où les activités sont nombreuses.

Frühling auf Madeira

Das Quartier war in der Beschreibung wie vorgefunden. Sehr sauber mit großzügiger Zimmeraufteilung und 2 Terrassen - wie beschrieben ohne Ausblick. 10 - 15 Minuten Fußweg in die Innenstadt, nur auf dem Weg ins Quartier manchmal etwas anstrengend, weil es dann bergauf geht. Für uns war es ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt um Ausflüge und Wanderungen auf Madeira zu unternehmen ohne das wir einen Mietwagen benötigten. Luisa war für uns stets ansprechbar. Vielen Dank für unsere schönen 6 Wochen auf Madeira! Wir kommen gerne wieder
