Horrible service, arrogant staff! Lobby is colder than a refrigerator. I would not recommend staying here when there are much better choices next door. The place is too big and the guides placed to help you find things only speak Chinese. Not a favourable place.
This 4 hotels in the Sands Cotai Central merge into one another. There isn't anything particularly wrong with this one - the least expensive of the lot. The rooms are fine in this hotel - not much worse than the Sheraton. In fact the beds were good and the air con worked well. I slept better here than in many a posher hotel. You have all the restaurants and shops connected and the Venetian and now Parisian are across the bridge so it's very convenient. One fault - check in was 3pm but they couldn't get one of my rooms ready till nearly 6! But it was Christmas to New Year week. Concierge desk and show desk are conveniently located in the lobby and they are professional and helpful. Wasn't able to get connecting rooms for my family though. One sleazier aspect to the stay - one night there was a man in the lobby just outside the casino entrance asking men if they wanted female company. Didn't expect this kind of thing in the Sands Cotai Central set of hotels.
We have stayed in this hotel and many other Holiday-inn couple times and this time we have a stay one night on 4 Jan for my girlfriend’s birthday and we have a good time. Before arrival, I made a call for asking if hotel got any special amenity for birthday guest and i don’t mind paying for a cake or some flowers. But the answer is negative. Location is very good. Hotel free bus from airport is quite often. It’s around 10min ride from the airport. We check in around 8 pm. Reception told us they ran out of non-smoking room for Kingsize bed even I made my preference Clearly on Booking.com. (I realized this booking is the same prize for SK and SQ room, so you had chance to not meet your preference if you arrive late.) As suggested by Front dest, we got a smoking room to see if the room smells bad. It turned out very smelly and I was kinda disappointed. We out for dinner and come back for room change. Special thanks to Front Dest staff-Catherine from Malaysia. She free upgraded us to Suit room and save our day! Room’s big and clean. We really like it. Thank you Catherine!
I visit this hotel for th travel and rest of vacation Dec 2017. At first when i checking in, the staff of the hotel was unkind and alittle rude. So it was not good impression.... But when i get into the room, the room condition was so nice and also well cleaned up. The pillow was cool. I sleep deeply and get a perfect rest of vacation. I feel the lack of do not have a opener in the room and the refrigertor was alitte poor. Anyway it was nice hotel and it’s condition, but should be need more high service. Thanks alot
Very well located. All the other resorts, hotels are connected so one doesn't need to cross the roads or go outside the buildings.. Decent food options.. Very well furnished rooms with splendid view of fountains at wynn palace. Area of concern - was offered set meal at a chinese restaurant. This wasnt told at the time of booking. However after complaining - was offered the western buffet breakfast at no extra cost..
My family and I went over to Macau for Christmas. Of course, the room rates were crazily expensive. The only hotel within a reasonable range in the Cotai Central district is Holiday Inn. I had my initial doubts about this hotel as I never did stay at much holiday Inn chains. But to my surprise, the rooms there were quite nice. I usually stay at the Conrad beside it and I can say it is definitely comparable. Both are located inside Cotai central where you will find restaurants and shops and of course, casinos. The rooms had all the amenities but nothing over the top. Room size was OK considering it is Macau. Only downside to the hotel is the check in/out time, 11am for check out and 3pm for check in.. I would stay at this hotel again only if the price is right. The best thing about the hotel is indeed the location.
I was staying in this hotel with my family and had a wonderful time. The hotel is ideally located . All the major attractions are in the near vicinity itself. I would say it’s a value for money experience with Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central. The rooms and in house services were all excellent and I really appreciate their professionalism.
The room is 'big enough' for 2 of us. Comfortable to walk about the room with 2 opened suitcases. The queen-size bed mattress is firm (which we liked) and we had a choice of soft or hard head pillows - which is a nice gesture. The hotel is within walking distance of the 'happenings' in the evening when all the Christmas lights are switched on. Quite a sight to see whilst having our evening walk. The check-in could have been more tight. We arrived at the hotel around 10 am and had no issues as check-in was at 2 pm. We came back at 3 pm and waited for almost an hour to get our door keys. A nice gesture - bottled water was distributed to the people in the queue.
We stayed here for 2 nights and was assigned a non smoking room on a non smoking floor. However, the room assigned has a strong smoke smell which did not go away even though we blasted the aircon. Some guests have previously smoked in the room or toilet even though it was a non smoking room. We decided to change room after the first night and was given a room without smoke smell. Really a hassle to shift but we could not stand the smoke smell especially with a young kid.
We stayed here for 5 nights. The Reception staff was very cooperative and checkin was quite fast. The rooms are of adequate size and all amenities are well provided. There are adequate number of elavators. The Bathrooms are quite big and well stacked with essential toileteries. The linen is exquisitely clean. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast included in room booking is served in their chinese restaurant and consists of chinese food only. So if anyone does not like chinese food you can change it to an international buffet breakfast at an extra charge of about 70 Macau Patakas per person. The ambience of the hotel is good and the adjacent courtyard with flowerbeds is comforting. The have free shuttle buses to both ferry terminals and macau airport. The nearly hotels and malls are connected with covered walkways.
