Marty was such a great host, he met us there and gave us a run down of the area, and a few hike ideas which ended up being incredible!
Peaceful valley was a very quiet place, and was very nice place to stay with my two dogs.
Would stay again for sure !
This beauty is an amazing find! We plan to go and stay again as soon as we can! It's such a beautiful area, very peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay! I did make recommendations for updates, but overall was AH-MAZ-ING! Can't wait for our next trip!
We were looking for a location that was close to my daughters wedding. This was 15 minutes away so it was perfect. Cute, comfortable, beautiful location and now I wish I own the cabin just like this.
Our stay at this property was everything we wanted. Located in the woods, private, great owner who was very kind and accommodating.
These guys are doing a great thing, refurbishing an older dude ranch into some great cabin life opportunities. Happy to have been even a small part of that adventure
Thank you for everything!
Cabin is hidden away from others and road. Perfectly as described. Lots of blankets, pillows and towels! The river is just across the road. This checked off all the boxes for us!
This is a no frills cabin but it met our family's needs just fine. The affordable price meant we could spend more days in this beautiful region. The drive into Rocky Mountain National Park gave us beautiful views every day. Marty was very helpful and attentive to our needs.
We really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was cute and clean. The back bedroom has sky lights, you can see the stars at night from bed! Property Mgr was helpful in telling us local trails to take. They brought firewood for the fireplace and even started a fire for us! Couldn’t have asked for a nicer visit.
Marty was a great host! We bumped into him one morning and he gave us some terrific recommendations for hiking and nearby towns. The rustic cabin is quite accessible from the mountain highways. Bear in mind that you're staying in a cabin in the mountains so you cannot expect hotel amenities, but we had all that we needed and more (we were also able to cook a bit in the limited kitchen and enjoyed it in front of the wood fireplace). Great night skies!
Property is being rehabbed which is perfect as there are few people! Nice hikes - go up to the chapel. Fun to explore. Kitchen could use additional table ware and cutlery. Pics are accurate. A bit dark inside. Host is great! Plenty hot water for showers. Bathroom and lines clean. Estes Park not far -same with Lyons. Quaint and rustic. Very nice.
We had no TV or wifi!! Had a great time. So nice to disconnect and reconnect right before school starts this week. We played cards, Uno and Yahtzee. Saw a moose galloping down the road one morning, very cool! Loved it so much I've rebooked already for next month. Marty was hreat as well, property mgr.
Never got the door code therefore we had to drive to another hotel in a storm !
I still have not received the door code & my vacation is over & I am at the airport!
Refund would be appropriate!
We loved our time at our cabin. It is definitely rustic and helps you disconnect. Our cabin did not have a/c (I didn’t ask about it or even look to see if it was an option) but it truly was not needed. The afternoons were pretty warm but we were off exploring so the cabin temp was not an issue. Sleeping with the windows open and listening to the nearby river was definitely relaxing!
The host, Marty, was super responsive to all communication leading up to the trip and checked in on us throughout our stay.
It’s about 20-30 minutes to a nearby town. The remoteness was very welcomed and we loved our evening walks around the property.
Marty is in the process of remodeling and getting all of the cabins and lodge back up to full capacity. I cannot wait to see this place grow and develop!
