Dont agree at all with
NO CASH PAYMENTS..
That apparently is due to no local bank, or post iffice for the banking!???
But ime sure the many other shops and pubs ,restaurants that took cash are happy with that arrangement.
If the public who PAY THE LIONS bills after all decide to pay cash thats up to us!
I felt a negative also with being pushed for full payment of our xmas day lunch £220 3 weeks before xmas.
After all if we werent haooy with the service abd meal , we woukd taje it up at tgat moment at the table, and pay what both oarties agreed.
Cant do that if all ready paid!
The food and service was perfect tho.
Also they nearly lost our booking when i rang to book in for xmas day lunch.. .
A .I. Wasnt good, the automated Voice of POLLY, who couldnt understand that we were already booked in to the hotel for 4days , and wanted to book for xmas day lunch... was totally confused, and had eventually pass us on to CAROL A REAL PERSON !
Who was excellent ,
But i was on the verge what with the no cash thing of cancelling !
We spent over £1k in the end !
