Stayed one night and glad that it wasn’t longer. Bed a little uncomfortable. Nice views over the river though. Worst is that the bathroom door is a sliding glass panel - can see and hear too much of what happens in there. Bad cleaning job done - lots of hair in bathroom when we checked in.

We enjoyed the facilities very much (sauna, indoor pool, steam bath etc). The room was very large but still cozy. I also have to mention the delicious food in the restaurant . Overall outstanding service.

It;s a nice hotel, with a very good spa en swimming pool as well inside and outside. De dinner was very nice as well. De people who worked in the hotel were friendly and try to speak English, french and german.

Very very nice place family and kids friendly , spent three good days really enjoyed , everything is tip top quality especially the food ,wellness and pools in clean and very good order. Definitely coming back again!

This hotel technically rates as a four star but to be honest I'd rate it nearer 2.we paid 290 euro for 1 night with 2 adults with 2 children. On arrival I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to turn up to check in, the gentleman did try his best to meet our accommodation requirements but neither room was ideal as they are clean but circa 1970 in decoration. I requested that we be allowed to cancel but the booking was via booking.com so cancellation was not possible, so we percevered, went for a quick swim in the outdoor pool (cold and a little cloudy) the spar area was huge but heated to such a degree was uncomfortable. Here bye lies the main problem, it was a cool stormy night in Remich, about 14 degrees, but the rooms remained uncomfortably hot all night, despite widows wide open, probably heat conducted form the super heated spar below, God knows what it would be like on a hot night. We left without breakfast at 7.30, after a very restless night, I passed comment on leaving and no attempt was made to remedy the situation. 'It's hot in Luxembourg the time of year' I really cannot recommend this place unless you are desperate, and don't pay more that 50 euro per person, it's not worth it. It also seems to be a favourite with people travelling with dogs, I like dogs, but really wasn't expecting the complementary welcome drink in reception to be offered by the glass, or the dog bowl on the floor. Images displayed on comparison sites portray a very glossy image, of a very tired hotel.

We have stayed in this hotel several times and will always return if in the area. It is situated on the banks of the Moselle so there are nice walks along the river or across the bridge into Germany. Rooms are pleasant and spotlessly clean with tea and coffee making facilities, free mineral water and quality toiletries. There is an indoor/outdoor pool and a solarium overlooking the river. The breakfast buffet is very good.

I arrived late and the hotel made sure I could still get a key that night although the reception was already closed. I normally stay closer to Luxemburg city but there were no hotels to be found that night and this is not too far from the city. I might stay here more often when I want to relax at night, especially in spring or summer. Very nice lady at the reception. Good buffet breakfast.

If your goal is to have a very nice dinner in a friendly restaurant, this hotel is a good choice. If you're out for a super spa treatment, not so much. We found the pool and sauna area nice and quiet, but the sauna was only 65 C, and most of the wellness area was unmanned and locked. Room towels are to be used in the sauna, but that leaves no other clean towel for washing. When we visited, a restructuring was going on in the hotel.

The location of the St Nicholas is superb, a short walk from the banks of the Moselle. There is an underground garage for parking for up to 14 vehicles, this was excellent and reasonably priced. Access from the garage to the hotel can be made via a lift that allows access to the hotel reception Our allocated room was very comfortable and extremely quiet, positioned towards the rear of the building and overlooking the outdoor pool. The bed linen was very soft and comfortable and added to a very relaxed nights rest. Spa facilities at the hotel are exceptional with sauna, steam room and ice room including an indoor and outdoor swimming pools available. The evening meal was excellent with very helpful and informative staff in the restaurant. Breakfast was also very good with a variety of continental breakfast produce available.

We spent the Christmas days in Saint Nicolas in Remich and enjoyed our stay very much. The food was excellent, the rooms comfortable but yes a bit outdated and the location very good for exploring the countryside and Germany which is just across the bridge. Extra bonus were the hundreds of swans that swim in the river and when locals come to feed them, flock to the shore and gobble up the offered bread or corn. The small spa and swimming pool were very nice as well and we used the facilities both days. Beds were very comfy which is always a plus since I have a bad back and sleep is hard to get in beds that are hard as a rock. Staff very friendly and a special shout out to the lady that ran the breakfast service the first morning where we arrived too late since the beds were so good and we were very tired. Thank you for bringing us breakfast even though it was our own fault we were late. Very nice service indeed, making me give you 5 instead of 4 stars!
