The area had an aire of unsafety around it. Some property components in disrepair. For the cost, it wasn't a terrible decision, but i doubt I'd stay again.

I managed a similar style hotel for many years so I do have some insight on expectations for this type of property. It was not a bad experience overall, but it wasn't great either. The hot tub was decent and the pool was okay. The pool is in need of being drained, cleaned, and some repairs made to cracks and other spots in pool. On our 2nd day, I had to have our keys re done 3 times in a row as only 1 would work properly each time, even though our reservation was for 3 nights. My brother had a separate room and also had to repeatedly have his keys reset (it was definitely not our fault as we did not have any of them near magnets or cell phones). My room was okay though we did notice a few dirty spots on the sheets and kept finding dead ants on the floor. We did not complain, because at least they were already dead. They did offer hot breakfast, but there wasn't a ton to choose from. I would recommend offering a few more low cost items such as yogurt, cereal etc. But it did offer waffles, eggs, and sausage, bagels and toast. An annoyance was there was not a coffee pot in rooms, but they did offer it down by the front desk. The coffee was very weak and not great. Staff that I spoke to were friendly and did their best to be helpful. The hotel is currently doing renovations, so good for them for trying. These renovations do look to be show going and i would expect them to be continued indefinitely, if you are planning a future stay.

Mani-stay at another hotel!

This was a “family room” with 2 queen beds and a separate room with a queen bed. The floor was so dirty that our feet were black and the bathroom was very dirty. Found a sock in the cabinet under the sink. The light switch and air conditioning weren’t connected to the extra room. No phone, clock or tv in the room. They were having work done on the parking lot and didn’t let guests know, so most of it was blocked off. The area lost power and they didn’t have a backup generator. We left a night early and they acted like nothing happened, didn’t ask us about our stay or anything. Definitely do NOT stay here!

The hotel is nice for the price. The says hotel and restaurant but there is no restaurant. If you don't want fast food you have to go to the casino or downtown for dining options. Staff was great!
