Stayed here while in Ludington for a family trip. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything here is really outdated though as it is an older style motel. If you want a modern hotel, do not stay here.
This hotel is so quaint. Super friendly check in and great conversation. It’s within walking distance to the harbor to see the SS Bagger loading, the beach, putt putt golf, and the town. The town has lots of shops, ice cream, and food choices. It’s also just a short drive up the coast to Ludington State Park. The hotel is also clean, has a microwave, and fridge. I would definitely stay again.
If you’re looking to park your car and enjoy walking to the Lake, lighthouse, ice cream and restaurants this is your place. Very well taken care of by owners that have a passions for hospitality. Rooms- clean and cared for. Outside seating areas and gorgeous little gardens. Worth it!
We stayed one night. It is a cute little motel. Our room was very clean, the shower was hot & the bed was comfy. It is within walking distance of shops and restaurants and also the beach and lighthouse. They owner was friendly & had good recommendations for restaurants. We were here at a slow time, so it was fairly quiet. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place in Ludington.
Great location you can see Lake Michigan front the front lawn, walking distance to all of downtown Ludington. Rooms were very clean and cute. Great having your own entrance is very nice. Owner was VERY friendly. If you are going to stay in Ludington this is a great Motel. We honestly think it was under priced. :)
Room a few steps from the car, comfortable, bed was great. A tiny bit of road noise from Ludington Ave. A few blocks from a public beach and views of breakwater. Decorated in each room with an individual beach theme. The bed linens and curtains, etc were lovely soft, interesting fabrics.
Very clean and nice little place. Looks like it was recently updated. We just stayed one night and walked down to PW Steamer for dinner. Lady checking us in was very nice. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
We stayed here the night before crossing Lake Michigan on the SS Badger. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little quirky but all in all a good stay and a good value. It is outdated but that’s what gives it its charm. Wish we would have been able to arrive earlier in the day to explore the area. It seemed very charming.
Checked into this charming and comfortable hotel for a quick overnight. Within walking distance to Lake Michigan and downtown, it was perfect for our stay in beautiful Ludington. The room was exceptionally clean and the owner was gracious, even making a fresh pot of coffee for us late risers! We will be back!
I almost stopped writing this as I don't want to give out just how special this place and all the other properties jill manages under her wings. Whether it's her quaint motel, cozy cabins or a beachhouse with views, it's my best kept secret in the lower michigan. Add the uniqueness of Ludington and you have the perfect combination. Over the years we've stayed at all these properties and the attention to detail is found everywhere. From nautical themes to flowers everywhere, nothings identical but everything fits together like a glove. It's comforting to not have to worry about how clean things will be but to enjoy the atmosphere and experience your memories.
