we stayed in apartment facing old town square; might sound like a sleepless night, but we slept well, it was quiet; the room nicely decorated in shades of pink, separate bedroom, big bathroom; I strongly recommend, great experience

It was not the hotel's fault that we arrived in the middle of a sand volley ball tournament. We got a very small room facing the old marked place where the level of sound and noise were audible, to put it mildly. Parking abilities outside were limited, but we managed to squeeze in. The building was two stores with endless corridors. We skipped the premises next morning, however - I think the locals had a swell time.

The hotel is well located in the city centre just next to the main square. Hotel clean and comfortable. Staff helpful and polite. Stayed in a junior suite which was very spacious. Breakfast selection is very good.

The Mercure Zamosc is right next to the town hall and the main square, so it is very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel is well maintained, and our room was nice - plenty of room for us, and the bathroom was modern bathroom. Parking was available nearby. Other reviewers noted that the hotel does not have air conditioning, but fortunately we were there on a cool Monday night so we didn't need it, and we didn't have any problems with street noise.

The hotel is a good 3* standard and has an excellent location on the old historic square and adjacent to the Town Hall. Lots of restaurants around the square . We stayed two nights on 2 and 3 August. BUT 1. The hotel has no air conditioning. In temperatures last week over 30C this meant it was uncomfortable. Deputy Manager said this was because, in an historic building, they had not secured permission to alter the structure by putting in airconditioning pipework 2. Rooms have baths and not standalone showers. These bathtubs were high-sided and too difficult for us older customers to get in and out. Breakfasts were adequate. The Deputy manager was very helpful with advice on suitable restaurants and with arranging transport to take us back to Lublin.

The one great thing about this hotel is that it is right in the centre of the city alongside one of the most picturesque main squares in Poland. Unfortunately, it's very location is also its downfall. It is a nightmare to get to because of the maze of one way streets surrounding it. Parking is not good because it is in the centre of the city. The hotel is dated which may be "quaint" but it means it has no air conditioning. In the middle of a Summer heatwave we were only able to get any air by keeping the room windows fully open. Drunken revellers from the square kept us awake with their screaming and shouting until the early hours of the morning and then at five fifty in the morning the church bells woke us up! My advice:- choose a hotel further out of the city in a quieter area and with a/c. Then come in to see this lovely old town.

Rented an Apartment style room because they were the only ones with AC. Unfortunately the AC wasn't working, and the room was very hot/stuffy. It was also very dusty. I didn't feel the room was worth the cost - it was one of the most expensive rooms I rented on my trip.

Please note- there is no air conditioning in this hotel, and when we arrived it was 30 degrees! However, Dariusz on Reception gave us a choice of a cooler room, and provided a fan. He was so helpful with every query we had, from booking taxis to our return bus ticket. The hotel is very quirky and old, but a fantastic place to stay, and excellent value, too.

Travelling in all Europe, that was the best hotel. The staff at all level was helpfull. The room was spotless, the service at the restautant, bar and reception was fantastic. Close to all to see in Krakow.

What a lovely hotel...situated on the edge of the beautiful square in Zamosc, within easy walking distance of lovely views, wonderful architecture and interesting history. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the food is very good and the rooms are clean and have good facilities, including kettle and tea/coffee. I thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel.
