Upon arrival we were greeted with a sign that said the elevators were not working. The man that greeted us was polite but unable to give us anything but an upper floor room. We had several pieces of luggage we did not want to leave in the car so were forced to carry them up and down the stair wells. This is unacceptable service. I think our room should have been provided gratis for the inconvenience. Very disappointing. The facility was worn out and needs an upgrade. We will not return to this property. Not being able to provide a simple service like an elevator and offering nothing in return to guests other than our room could be cancelled without penalty is not right. Telling guests they can find their own room at another hotel if they want is poor service. I look forward to a reply.
