We stayed overnight here after a long (4800 mile) trip. The staff was beyond excellent, but alas there is no excellent +! The room was not overly fancy but functional and comfortable as well as clean. The price was good for the quality of room and staff. Breakfast was included. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. We will stay here our next trip through Lubbock.

Problem was Orbitz. Could not get phone number for hotels on line. Got Orbitz instead, where "press 1 for English" was a bad joke an none of the Indians could be understood on the phone. They kept trying to get me a room for the wrong date. Then went to the website and when the room was reserved, it was for the SAME WRONG DAY, non refundable. The desk clerk found a reserve room for $190.00!, the only one left. Not the hotel's fault. I wouldn't revise this if you even reimbursed me for my loss. You people are incompetent.

It was a big room. and very clean. Might need some updating but overall good.

One night stay, good location, quiet, comfortable and clean room.

We stayed at this hotel on two consecutive weekends and found the facilities and breakfast better than usual with the staff helpful.

The staff knocked the door 5 times since 9 A.M woke me up lie about need to fix phone, need to bring me towel.. so annoying . They tried to do anything to make you leave the hotel earlier. I got the hotel almost midnight and this is unacceptable.

Great breakfast and Happy Hour! Staff is wonderful. We stay here every year at Christmas time.

Had my family stay for the entire week. They found the bed very comfortable. Location centrally located. I would recommend the Ashmore to anyone looking to have family and friends stay in Lubbock.

Room I stayed in was an "extended" stay room with a kitchenette, clean and new. However, hotel staff had to come replace battery in a fire alarm as it beeped every 30 seconds, and couldn't figure out how to get fridge turned on. Very minor inconveniences to be overlooked, the room was nice. The bad - the room AC would not stay on no matter what temp I set it to or what temp the room was at. It would run maybe a minute before turning off. Finally figured out to turn AC off and just run fan. It was a bit warm but sufficient. I called the front desk but at 11:00 pm what could they do? I was tired and didn't want to move rooms. I mentioned again the AC issue but because (I think) I got room at discounted price no "inconvenience" discount was forthcoming. Too many other hotels in area to stay here again, but not a bad place if they work kinks out.

very pleased with hotel and staff. quiet and relalxing

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly & accomodating. Would definitely stay there again!

Very nice. Very clean. Great pool. Quiet. Close to Walmart and several restaurants.

Everything was great. I did have a complaint about the cleaning staff walking into the room before 11am. I did not ask for a wake up call with someone using a card key to let themselves in. But other then that is was awesome.

clean room, hot breakfast. Good value and close to everything.

This hotel was on sale when I need a stay over night. We had been driving for over 16 hours and I was tired so I wanted a place that was nice on the inside and secure looking on the outside. This met that need. I was able to park right outside my window, bed was comfortable, and we got a good nights rest.

Very comfortable stay. Great breakfast! Able to use the laundry facilities. We needed a hotel for the night because our electricity was out (country living).

The location of this Hotel is perfit. The rooms them self are in need of updating. They only offer full size beds and the resverations offer Queen size beds. with my wife 8months pergnet we needed the bigger bed. I asked the staff about maybe getting a Queen size bed room and all they said we NO. they are all booked up and with no refund avalaible we had no choice but to stay there for two nights and it was terrible...

My family and I were only in town for one night for one of the kid's school competitions. The room looked clean enough, but as soon as we walked in, my husband asked if I had reserved a smoking room. I had not, but he swore he could smell smoke. Plus, the whole time we were in the room we constantly sneezed. Not sure what it was, but as soon as we left, we were fine. Breakfast was ok, but not the best. And we had the cleaning crew trying to come in and clean our room over an hour before we were supposed to check out. Other than that it was fine. The front desk was helpful and they were very quick to bring us any amenities we requested. Overall, it was alright.

It was a great place to stay I would recommend anyone to stay at the ash more hotel

Nice and clean rooms with basic no frills breakfast. Walmart and a few chain restaurants in walking distance. Bar open until 7pm weekdays. WiFi had weak signal in my room.
