The room was filthy! Hair in the bed. The desk had something of i dont know what sticky mess (dont want to know). The pillows smelled like cigarettes and it was suppose to be a non smoking room. Run run away dont look back.

We used to like staying at this hotel when we went to Lubbock, but it’s extremely run down now. The wallpaper is literally taped together in the hallways. We had to move rooms because one of the beds was broken and the bathroom door didn’t lock although the lock was pushed in. . The phone was masking most of the buttons so we couldn’t call the front office. You had to push in on the door in order to turn the safety lock. A huge safety issue was that you didn’t even have to use a keycard to enter the side door, it just opened. After moving rooms we noticed the door didn’t not automatically shut like most hotel room doors do. One side of the closet door was completely detached with the acres and bolts laying on the floor. One of the beds made a horrendous sound when you sat on it as if it might break. Lastly, the toilet handle literally turned 360 degrees and was very loud because it would “pop” but that was the only way to successfully flush the toilet. Will not be staying here again.

Found drug paraphernalia in my room. I took it to the front desk and although they were sweet, the only thing said was “sorry” and they took it. There were no wash cloths and no hand towels. There were also no Kleenex - beyond below bare minimum. The breakfast offering was sparse and not appetizing. Just not the best stay.

Had to request a new room due to my “non smoking room” smelling like straight cigarettes. The second room then had a couch that was full of dog or cat hair. I had to clean the toilet seat myself due to urine stains being present. There was glitter all over the bathroom floor. Did not feel even comfortable enough to shower here. However, the staff at the desk were nice.

The staff was friendly and helpful at check in. The non smoking rooms however still smelled pretty heavy of smoke. There's always someone doesn't respect the non smoking rule. It was hard to sleep the 2nd night with the smoke in the air. The beds were clean, but very old. One sank in on one side. It was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was decent. The 2nd morning I went a little earlier than the day before and it was cold and also ran out of eggs and still had 2 hrs before the time was over. If you're staying for a quick business travel night it would be fine. Traveling with your family or kids for leisure, probably not.
