Pet fee $25 was a surprise and not informed in advance. Also breakfast was not included when breakfast included option was chosen. Disappointed after talking to front desk. They asked me to call Expedia
Staff was very friendly gave us everything we needed and the hotel was very clean beds were comfortable!
Nice room and very friendly staff, covid closed some things but that should be temporary.
Great stay. Front desk forgot to give us the breakfast coupons but corrected this.
In the midst of being updated but bed linens especially very nice.
A little outdated but overall an ok experience and nice location.
My husband and I were staying in Louisville as a weekend getaway, and was very pleased with out room here. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean. We were happy that our room had a small refrigerator and microwave. The hotel was very quiet and the check in and check out process was very simple. The employees were very helpful too.
The lobbie was beautiful. The room had a huge bathroom for a 2 bed suite there was a desk in the corner and a recliner I liked it was comfortable. I did leave the maid a note with my tip but she did not leave the extra shampoo I requested (but she kept the tip) Other then that a wonderful experience.
The location is away from downtown Louisville and there are no sidewalks or anything if you decide to eat outside the hotel so you take your life in your hands crossing the highway and the pool is a bit small, but overall it is a good hotel that is clean with an attentive staff and a free airport shuttle.
WE STAYED HERE AFTER A Pink Concert. It was a long drive to the KFC YUM center( 10 miles) but an easy drive. IT was very crowded in Louisville this weekend. The room was just average but the rate was terrible. 169.00 for a basic hotel room. we were put in an old section and the desk clerk had not idea what she was doing., It had been updated and it was clean but just basic. Would have liked to stay closer and not have to park and drive out of downtown traffic.
Nice place staff very helpful. Close to restaurants and shopping mall.
Only stayed one night on our way to another destination however we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. The room had a small refrig and microwave and a flat screen TV!
1The staff was totally courteous and the room was clean. There was plenty of parking space. All in all, it's a good place to stay on a budget.
Good
The room was great! The hotel staff was very accommodating and very willing to please us as guests. Very nice ambiance, however the hotel bar closed at 11p.m. on Saturday evening, this was unfortunate because we were looking forward to having cocktails. We will definitely come back though!
lOCATION WAS EXCELLENT
The hotel was very centrally located to all the tourist activities we did. Very nice and pleasant staff, always eager to please. The pool area and game room were a big hit with my kids too. Room was very comfortable to accomodate all four of us. The hotel was very crowded while we were there and the elevators were slow. But that was the only negative about the experience. Overall, it was a really nice hotel and we would stay there again!
My husband, son & myself stayed four nights over Labor Day. If there had been any available rooms at other hotels in the area we would have left. I was realy dissatified with the over all stay. Bathroom floor had stains, refrigator in room froze everything, noise all during the night from loud guests, staff wasn't friendly. With the size of this Holiday Inn you would think there would have been more than one laundry room for guests to use. The only thing that I would consider a plus for our stay was my son enjoyed the use of the pool&hot tub.
I stayed in the "terrace wind", which was part of the original Holdiay Inn. The room was antiquated, although decorated nicely. That wing had a central fan in the bathroom that groaned and whistled all night long. Since I had traveled 10 hours by car, and then was traveling another 20 hours over the next two days, I was upset not to get a great night's sleep. I might stay at that hotel again, but I would never stay in the "terrace wing". there was a gap under the outside door of one inch - reminded me of a very cheap hotel room. The staff there was great.
One of the beds had a hair on the sheet, in plain view. I am sure they would have changed it, but I did not want to an interruption in valuable study time. I am not sure that I would chose this hotel again if staying in the Louisville area.
