A group of 8 of us went to the Bourbon and Beyond Festival and rented this VRBO for 5 nights. The host, Matt, was extremely accomodating, communicative, and helpful to us. We absolutely loved the backyard area and the ease of cooking in the kitchen and grilling. We all had a wonderful time and I would choose this home were I to visit Louisville again.

Great Stay!

This house is exactly as advertised and convenient to downtown, bourbon trail, camps Churchill downs and the freeways. Clean and updated, my wife wanted to get this kitchen moved to our house, lol. Family of 5 with plenty of space. Communication was Top Notch throughout, Matt and Melissa have a great well run property!

Bourbon Trail Weekend Getaway

Matthew was an excellent host. The house is beautiful and spacious, perfect for our group of 8. It is a short Uber ride to Whiskey Row and downtown Louisville. I would definitely stay again!

Fun getaway

Enjoyed everything about this beautiful property. Snow came in when we were supposed to check in and Matt made sure to communicate with us on check in. Extra blankets and towels, but my favorite part is that we had a private chef come in to the beautiful kitchen and cook us an amazing supper! Highly recommend

This property was fantastic! Clean, comfortable beds, good wifi, good water pressure for showers, big kitchen area and living rooms for hanging out. Although the property was not used to its fullest potential (we were in town for a convention), it was great. Would cone here again!!thmaking

The hosts were very helpful with restaurant and local information. Beautiful home, lovingly restored with plenty of space to hang out in a group. Great kitchen! Comfortable bedrooms.Very convenient jump off point for anything you want to do.I highly recommend this place.

This is our second time staying at this house and had a great experience this time as well. The house is well appointed. We enjoyed the firepit one night and have zero complaints! Also Matt is really communicative if you need to reach out about anything.

My buddies and I came to Louisville to golf for a couple of days. Your Home was warm and inviting. The remodeled kitchen and baths were "state of the art"! My crew was a little apprehensive of the neighborhood, but there were NO issues and it was completely unfounded. PS Communication was very good!

Guys Golf Trip

Great property for any visit to Louisville. 4 of us stayed for four days in August as part of a guys' golf trip to the region. The house was very comfortable and well decorated. Plenty of space for us 4 We were all impressed by the warm feel inside and the great outdoor sitting area in the backyard. It was very clear that the owners take great pride in making their guests feel welcome. That was also evident in the truly first class check-in instructions and great communication in general. If you're visiting Louisville, consider this property as your home base.

Family Bourbon Trail Excursion

This was our first trip to Louisville. The host/hostess offered great suggestions on places to eat/drink and places to visit. The historical home was beautifully remodeled and stocked with the essentials. Would recommend for a family or group of friends.

Extended stay in Louisville

We were in Louisville for almost two weeks for a series of basketball tournaments at the nearby Expo Center. The house was perfect - beautifully decorated, clean, great location - felt like a home away from home. The owner was quickly responsive to questions and inquiries. We would stay here again anytime!

The Perfect stay in bourbon country.

Matt and Melissa were very informative and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Louisville. The property is absolutely amazing! A beautiful comfortable home with high end finishes worked into a historic building. The right mix of comfy and luxury. Very well situated in a nice quiet neighborhood, and a great launching point to explore the town. I couldn’t ask for more, and it will be our place to go whenever we visit the area.

J3 Bourbon Spree

We came to the Bourbon Trail to celebrate our son’s 21st bday. The owner was incredibly helpful with local entertainment and food. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of space. The kitchen was a gathering place and fully equipped for large meals. The location was close to all downtown distilleries and restaurants. We will be back!

Great Location and Gathering Places

The house is decorated so nicely with lots of areas to gather. The location is fantastic with it being only a couple of miles from all of the downtown distilleries, restaurants and shopping. The owner was also very responsive. My husband and I stayed with our grown children and we loved hanging out in the backyard to watch the fireflies. Highly recommend this house!

Charming speakeasy house

The house was great to stay and was plenty big for us. Close enough for us to the downtown area and other areas. Matt and Melissa are great and were able to give us a lot of recommendations for places to go and things to do. Would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Amazing House

One of the best properties I’ve ever stayed at. Matt was communicative, had some great food/drink place recommendations, the instructions on check in and check out were clear and concise. We felt very welcome. The property was insanely gorgeous, decorated to perfection and was very comfortable for the 6 of us during our stay. We plan to rent it the next time we are in Louisville.
