We stayed in phase 3. Beautiful views & clubhouse. We had to listen to barking dogs. Very annoying. If you stay at this place you will need a car. It is up on a hill so not walking distance to anything. Would not recommend.
We stayed at the Ventanas phase I. The property is well equipped but the lack of water supply and slow response made the stay frustrating. We stayed in a 4 bedroom home that is gorgeous but without water it doesn't matter how great a home looks. I would not recommend staying at Ventanas. The views maybe amazing but not worth the frustration.
This once grand development has been plagued by lack of reliable water supply. This off again on again water availability, not presumably by the development itself, but the Oompas local water supplier.... has made residing there less than enjoyable and problematic. The huge multiple hotel building along the shore is possibly the cause of these water shortages....
We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed the fitness area and pool. From a location standpoint, we were a bit remote from restaurants and activities. The apartment we stayed in could have been great but there were some issues that were too great to remain there for our whole vacation. When you rent a place, the expectation is that you have running water, propane for operating the stove or heating the shower water. When those needs are not met, it is difficult to give the place a decent rating. While I am sure there are probably some good rentals within the property, ours was not positive.
My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and it was amazing, we didn't even leave the hotel ground...the food was absolutely incredible and the service couldn't be better if you had your own serving staff...they seriously think of everything, down to the fact we had a personalized seeing repair kit that matched the majority of colors we had been consistently wearing o_O we will certainly be going back asap
There are choices to saty i Cabo, but this is the best right in the middle of the corridor between San Jose and San Lucas, Quiet and sophisticated. Excellent service all the way. Cheff is fantastic, The pools near the ocean are sooo relaxing. Once you're here you will not want to leave.
Stayed here for 3 nights with a bunch of girls while in Cabo for a bachelorette party. We had a 3 bedroom-3.5 bath villa with a rooftop pool. The view from our particular residence was impeccable! From the rooftop pool you can see Cabo's famous arch. It is located on a hill top in a gated community and the area is relatively quiet. The one draw back about the property is the location. If you want to go to Walmart, Medano Beach, downtown bar/club area you most definitely have to take a cab, which is about a 15-20min drive. If you plan on going to town often, it can get a little pricey paying RT cab fare.
The house we stayed at was great and clean. the views were awesome. The resort, even though it is only 11 years old is starting to show its age. Pool was not so clean and concrete repairs to the pool were unfinished and needed to be repainted. The road just before entering the property was unfinished but inside the resort was great! It seems some of the roof tiles that came off during hurricane Odile have not yet been replaced on the condominium buildings. We would hesitate to buy and suggest the Ventanas resort management staff should make sure the resorts appearances as well as individual owners look after the property if they want to maintain resale value.
It was great for the 6 of us as a family. Had our own condo with e drug I v needed. We had a club house with pool/excersise room/weights room. This was also a gated community so we felt very safe.we were in phase 3. They had a great restaurant in phase 2. The food was fresh and delicious. The view was of the marina and sea of courtez meeting the pacific. We had a large smart tv and wifi. Great week to unwind. Will go back next year for 2 weeks. Cabos has so much to offer and the beaches are vreat. You will need a car.30 minutes from the airport.
Stayed two weeks in phase 3B. Still under construction, not too many units sold. But it made for peace and quite. We were able to use the pool, and fitness area in phase 3A, very short walk. These units are absolutely gorgeous, and more than enough room for 2 couples. We were on the second floor and the view of Lands End was too die for!! C Close to Costco, and Walmart. A vehicle is a must, too far to walk and no public transportation up there. Can't wait to return.
