The food was horrible. The staff at the front desk were not polite. We went over to the real palace. There was so nice and the food there that we ate was amazing. Why can’t you have the same thing at Baja? We were very, very disappointed with the food.

Staff was amazing. Food was great, but meal times were weird. Room was nice and cozy. The beach front sucked. Just flooded with drug dealers harassing us about buying weed, coke, etc. I’m sure it’s out of the hotel’s control but they do nothing about it.

The property had friendly staff, gorgeous views, a variety of food options, and we were able to be served quickly in most cases. Our only complaint would be that the mattresses and bedding were not very comfortable. Luckily, we were tired in the evenings so could fall asleep, but that is one area that we felt they could improve. Overall, we truly loved the resort and would recommend to friends.

From the time we got dropped at at the lobby by our shuttle the experience was amazing. Our check in process was great (I should have downloaded the app and did the online check in but Herberto make the process excellent. The room was what we booked and was ready for our arrival. Our first meal experience was at the Agave and it did not disappoint. The food and service was top notch. The services on site were excellent and over the course of 8 days, we did not have a single bad experience with the food, drinks or anything else for that matter. We had a couple small issues with our lights and safe but a technician was there to fix immediately. For our first trip to Cabo San Lucas, the staff at the RIU Palace Baja California made it memorable. We will definitely be returning to this hotel again and again.

I liked the resort. I would have liked more entertainment or things to do other than so many of the pool parties. The adult only was great! We had a view of a deserted open lot to the side of the hotel. The food tasted great! I would have liked the activities of beach volleyball, aqua aerobics and cornhole to be at different times and not all at once. The employees were very nice and accommodating. I would definitely go back.
