They no longer have anyone staffed after 6 PM so if you arrive late you will not be able to check in. The mansion itself is under construction, so there are guests staying in rooming houses with bunk beds everywhere and 1 bathroom. The place they took me to was not clean at all. I ended up sleeping in my car the 1st night because of how gross everything was and I had to wait on someone to come on staff to cancel the rest of my stay. The manager and owner were nice and gave me a full refund so that was a plus

Clean, Friendly, Beautiful. I can't wait to go back. Amazing gem!

This isn’t a hotel as advertised it’s a bunch of houses on a culdesac turned into a dirty disgusting overpriced hostel.

For the amount of money that I payed, I think that the Estates fulfills what a traveler needs. A Bed, a Bathroom and Breakfast. The estates are 3 different buildings which several rooms, they are easy to navigate and are cleaned daily.

Great price staff very friendly Breakfast could be better

At first it started off rocky, but the overall experience was positive

This place... so I took an Uber/Lyft from LAX to this hostel and as to distance from the airport, that was great. However, upon arrival - definitely not the best looking neighborhood but probably could have been worse. You literally get out to this big mansion that looks a bit out of a movie, like a party movie where the parents went out of town and told the kid or kids to behave and not invite friends over but... ... they not only invited friends, they partied it up! Anyway, walk around the gate because there is no obvious office. I see this pool house type thing with tons of TV’s and assumed it was an internet office or biz office for guests? But then I was greeted by two lovely ladies... telling me yes, this IS the office... Got checked in, taken to wrong bed, right building. That got fixed easily, but was still nervous about it all. Anyway, I settled in; free breakfast of basic pancakes or breakfast sandwiches, milk or OJ - nothing fancy but free is free, right? Third night or so music was blasting and TV going - sounded like a frat party; by the time I got up to see what was up, it was still loud but only 5-7 people watching UFC. Seemingly either they couldn’t hear this at their Office or they didn’t care... it was after 10pm, which I think they close then, so who knows. Shocked neighbors didn’t call the LAPD. Only other complaint would be my top bunk - the end caved in, likely because I’m fat, not due to bed Failure. Bad pillows too.

Stayed here for a few nights last week and I will never return. 1. Bed bugs! I have tons of bites all over my legs and arms. Thankfully I only slept there for one full night or it would have been much worse. 2. Access to the cottages are limited after a certain time. We were locked out at 1 AM and after several unsuccessful attempts at calling the listed numbers, my friend and I had to sleep in our rental car. There were also random people going in and out of our cottage to use the bathrooms. 3. Sad breakfast. We got there at 9 AM and all they had was cold sandwiches, runny oatmeal, and warm orange juice. Had a great time in Los Angeles but I will definitely remove this place from my list.

Great location, friendly staff, perfect for meeting other travelers, great price.

Saw some ants on the bed. Cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms could be improved.

The only thing I truly didn't like was the parking situation it felt like my car could've been damaged at anytime anf i would've never known who did it.
