The coolest hotel in LA, maybe the US! Nothing like it, restaurant is awesome too.

I loved this hotel. Very funky decor and beautiful landscaping. They need better hairdryers in the rooms, though, and also, the lobby coffee was lukewarm every day. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Unique property-one of a kind! An oasis in the middle of the city

Super location. Cool rock n& roll vibe, should not miss it, will not regret it.

The hotel should be pushing the restaurant more. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is spectacular. It is a total escape from the craziness that is LA. Do not miss Sunday brunch. Great spread including sushi rolls and bottomless champagne and mimosas. They don't try to rush you out. You can sit for 2 hours slowly grazing and drinking.

VERY RUDE STAFF. FROM PARKING TO THGE FRONT DESK THERE WAS NOT LEVEL OF PERSONAL SERVICE. GOING TO A BOUTIQUE HOTEL, YOU EXPECT SOME SORT OF PERSONALIZED SERVICE. THIS PLACE HAD NONE. SOUP TO NUTS IT WAS A ROTTEN EXPERIENCE AND WE WILL NOT BE BACK TO STAY. BAR IS COOL. RESTAURANT IS COOL TOO BUT THE STAFF AND SERVICE IS JUST DOWN RIGHT DISGUSTING. THEY THINK, BECAUSE THEY WORK IN LA, THAT THEY ARE ABOVE THE STANDARD OF PROVIDING SERVICE.

Awesome hotel with spacious rooms, great restaurant, and private villas. Would definitely stay here again

Awsome Superior Suite---very quiet even though overlooking the street. Great bed, great shower, big spacious room. The staff, particularly the management is TOP NOTCH and they really know how to take care of their clients--that explains the hi-end clientele. The Sunday Brunch is awesome--it should be part of everyone's must do for the Quintessential LA Experience. Only negative was the spotty cell phone coverage, which of course is not the properties' fault.

We had an excellent stay at Sunset Marquis. It is tucked away in the middle of historical West Hollywood. The grounds were beautiful accommodations were pleasing and atmosphere magical.

GREAT LOCATION. COOL PLACE. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED NEAR RESTAURANTS AND BARS. GREAT POOL. PERFECT PLACE TO SEE AND CHECK OUT HOLLYWOOD

I had heard so much about this place I decided to see what all the fuss was about. Very interesting place--sort of a Fancy Motel for rich people and celebrities. When I got to my Room (#233) I was very disappointed----my view was completely obscured by a white tent overhang covering the Pool area! I spoke to Michael the Manager on duty and he said he would try to find me a different room. I wasn't expecting anything--the hotel was sold out. The next morning he left me a message---I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite overlooking the pool! Wholly unexpected and very generous. I will be staying here again!

Walk to restaurants, easy location. Fun bar late night. Lovely restaurant and good food.

From the moment I arrived the staff was really friendly. The location is great - right by Sunset Blvd and Sta Monica Blvd. The hotel had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on and I am super picky about beds! I didn't try the restaurant, but it looked lovely.

Hotel was very clean with an amazing shower. Location was pertfect for walking to restaurants

The grounds are gorgeous. Our villa was awesome with large patio and huge bathroom with waterfall shower and seepage soaker tub. The staff is super friendly.

My wife and I stayed here for our date night. Great hotel in the middle of bustling West Hollywood. Will come back again.

We were having dinner with friends and didn't want to drive home (OC) so we booked a room... So much better than expected! We upgraded to a villa, which were apparently recently renovated. Room was huge, swanky and cold! Usually we suffocate in hotel rooms but here we could adjust temp to our satisfaction. Also, both shower and tub were modern and amazing! Only negative was very limited pool space so we did not get to enjoy either pool.

The hotel is beautifully laid out and the location could not be better -- the Los Angeles we dream of! The service was impeccable -- each staff member we encountered was friendlier than the last. Food was great and the restaurant was incredibly pretty - it was a place you'd invite friends to. Only housekeeping left something to be desired -- they only sort of moved things around and didn't give the feeling they'd really cleaned. Also, through [...] we booked a "superior" room, which was very shabby and needed renovation. Luckily, we were able to arrange an inexpensive upgrade to a villa which was much preferable, cleaner and newer -- although still dark and our two kids still had to sleep on two couches -- for a premium room!

Lovely stay. Super comfy bed. Great staff. I even got hugs! I liked the music playing in common areas. Way cool. Needed a groovy hotel to attract my son's friends, denizens of the tribes of Sunset.Didn't try pool, cloudy & rainy day.
