a flee bag hotel with East Indians who are the worst house keeper in the world pretending to run a hotel

The mattress didn't have any bed bugs, but that was the only redeeming quality. I paid way too much/night and the hotel was by far the seediest I have ever stayed in, should be about cheapest out there/night. Paint peeling off the walls and doors, I could see through the bathroom wall into the parking lot, etc etc. Honestly it wasn't too bad, but at the end when I was trying to check out, I was putting some stuff in my car and the manager chased me down in the parking lot for his tv remote and key... I wasn't leaving yet. I guess they have issues with people stealing their cheap 1980's style remotes or something. The stay was alright, but that last thing just crossed the line for me and provoked me to write this lovely review.

This hotel was a mistake to stay there. It had mold, outlets did not work. walls fallingapart.

This place was a one room bug infested dump. The pictures must have been photo chopped.

Worst motel I've ever been in. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Not clean. Insects.

It's definitely the cheapest hotel that you can find near Santa Monica it's absolutely run down the handles are broken on the door to the closet there was no plugs absolutely no plugs except the one that plug the heater in the remote control only work for the channels the power button didn't work the volume button didn't work the bed was Old hard old room smell but then again most of the buildings there have that smell if you literally just need somewhere to sleep for the night it's a decent place to go to for the price you won't find anything else that cheap there but not somewhere where you can get ready or anything like that due to no blow dryer no plugs to use a blow dryer if you bring one or a flat iron I did like that the parking up front was available it's a very small hotel so I was able to park right in front of the office and my room is right across from office it was the second door down

Manager was stoned and did not open door when I asked for key. Locks on room door and windows seemed flimsy and easily opened. Small crowd of men (6 or 7) hanging around back corner of building. As a woman alone, I did not feel safe.

Before you read, do keep in mind thay we're really not picky when it comes to hotels. We don't spend time in the room during the day when we travel. If it's in a good location, and if it's better than sleeping in the car, it's good enough for us:) The location/price ratio for this place can't be beat. You simply can't get anything for this price in Santa Monica. Big Blue Bus stops a block away, so if you want to go to the beach, you can do so without driving in crazy LA traffic. The room... What can I tell you. It's small, and pretty shabby. The furniture looks like it was found on the side of the road. The TV was probably made in the 90's. The paint needs refreshing. The towels are threadbare. You get a tiny sliver of soap. The bathroom fixtures could use an overhaul. But the important things were there: the sheets and towels were clean. There were no bedbugs. The AC worked. The room did not smell. The shower worked. The toilet flushed. Nothing dripped or leaked. We did see one roach, but this is an old building in LA, so they're not that uncommon. The fact that there was only one doesn't suggest an infestation to me. The neighbourhood is fantastic -- a great park nearby. A strip mall with Starbucks and Subway and a froyo place. We'll stay there again provided the prices don't go up.

In santa monica area, just one night is ok. It is near santa monica beach, so it worth the money

I love this motel. EXCELLENT LOCATION TO THE BEACH! (5 minutes)And also great location to downtown Los angeles(15 minutes) Quiet little motel. Great value. This will definitely be where I stay when I am in Santa Monica. Highly recommend if you want affordable beach motel.

We stayed 2 nights, enjoyed it so much, that we wanted to stay 2 more nights, but could only stay for one more. Great time! Definitely will go back!

I was shocked how bad this place is...actually nice location however this little piece of low life was hidden...I had to see it to believe it. Right next to Santa Monica Community College a hop skip and half a jump from the beach and all the upscale shops of Santa Monica...I am still in disbelief. To give it one star is a step up!

Absolutely horrible ...dirty room and below 0 everything... Can not even stay, unfortunately. Should put more pictures on web site that people will see how rooms and showers look like before. So BAD, did not expect that this kind hotel still exists .

No reasonable price is worth over 160 bedbug bites, numerous infections and and a vacation destroyed. This hotel has had bedbugs for a long time and the amount of bites indicate that they do nothing about it. The staff was not helpful at all. They accused me, after I showed them the bugs that I brought them myself in order to save money. Do not use this hotel if you do not want a week of agony and the cost of replacing, disinfecting and discarding all your stuff.

This is not a luxury hotel. This is a safe roof over your head with a friendly staff and a great value. If this is what you're looking for, the Pavillion is for you.

Looked like ppl were moving in or something. People can problem hear us since we heard them through paper thin walls. You could lean on the door and open it while locked. Bathroom door didn't close. Owner was scared I was gonna take his key and wanted to charge me $10.00 just incase I don't bring it back. Never again. It was cheap and only used for couple hours.

WORST MOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. Look, I've stayed in cheap motels and yea, it's obviously not going to be the best hospitality experience ever, but this was an absolute letdown. I never would've even given this place a second thought if they had listed on their site or on O-bitz that: -You could not flush toilet paper -No power outlets in the bathroom -Outlets not working -Bathroom Door does not close -Bathroom Door does not lock -Trash from previous guests will be under your bed -Extremely rude Manager and absent minded front desk person This was the worst motel experience I've ever had, and THAT's saying something. I would give negative stars if possible. Stay FAR FAR away.

It should have been cheaper. It was so digesting. It was literately a box with a bed. The sheets had stains. There was mold in the shower. The bathroom door didn't shut. There was nowhere to hang your towels. I walked in and walked right back out and cancelled my booking. I refuse to stay in that motel I don't recommend it

I felt like I was staying in gangland with mold all over the shower. Needless to say, I didn't use it, and found another place.

For the price not worth bathroom too small nothing like I thought it would be very disappointed I you have this on line
