Excellent location and wonderful staff. Just a few small additions would elevate this hotel from great to excellent: a lamp by the beds, hooks in the bathroom and the ability to cast our streaming services to the tv. Plenty of parking available even when we returned very late was such a relief after struggling to park everywhere we went. Walked to the Farmers Market every day, only about a 15 minute walk! Thank you for a great stay!

Exactly as described. Friendly and helpful staff, room thoroughly cleaned everyday, and the in-house restaurant is one of the best I've seen in a hotel, with charming, dedicated staff. The towels were rough, though, they should use a softener.

We paid extra to stay in an upgraded room. While I've seen mention of the construction noise, that was actually not our noise issue while trying to sleep- the hallway where our room was located was entirely painted concrete with nothing to stop echo, with its ends open to outside. If anyone at any point of the hallway, even ten rooms down, was doing *anything* outside the door or coming and going, it would generally wake me up. The room doors have a lot of space around them as well, so no insulation there to stop it. My husband described the sound level of nearby doors closing as "gunshots". Our second night there were two men going back and forth in and out of a room, talking, and banging what sounded like a gate repeatedly until 2AM. The room itself was really well done and stylish, nice bathroom and shower with two showerheads. Bed was pretty bad, hard with no give. I would not recommend staying here unless you take Ambien.

Old but clean. A little smelly and very little parking

Some sort of blood splatter on drapes- very disgusting and unclean

I stayed here while making a short visit to friends in LA, and after having a very good experience will stay here again in future trips. I chose this hotel because of its location (it is in a safe area within walking distance of The Grove, Beverly Connection, LACMA, Whole Foods, Starbucks, Trader s Joe, restaurants and a Yoghurtland, among other places) and value (mid range price for expensive LA). However, I would return to it also due to the excellent attention provided by its staff. Check in and check out were taken care of very quickly by Ruby, who also allowed me to check in well before regular time as there was one room available. My room was clean and had a small fridge and perfectly working air conditioning. What is more, and although I didn’t send Amazon packages to this hotel, I was told it would be no problem, and next time I will probably do just that in order to save time with shopping in short visits. Finally, and after reading previous reviews, I would like to point out that even though upon check in I was asked to pay a $ 100 incidental deposit with my credit card, that amount was returned in full upon check out. All in all, recommended.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and so honest! Left my I pad on the bed and they called right away to inform me that they found it! Quite impressive. The place is so safe and very clean! Thank you!

Price was great, It was close to my conf location.

Return stay; great location; free parking; close to Grove for movies and shopping. Will definitly come back.

Its a convenient preditable horle clean w/o a lot of extras. Friendly staff.

Park Plaza Lodge is good value. Park Plaza Lodge is at a great location. Park Plaza Lodge offers free parking which is a plus.

Thank you for the taking the time to leave this review. The echoes in the hallway can be an issue. We are currently looking at different options that will help absorb the noise, while maintaining integrity of design. So I would like to sincerely apologize on behalf of the hotel for your being inconvenienced. In your booking future, I would encourage you to voice concerns with Hotel Staff. I know we here at PPL would have taken steps and/or offered some options in efforts to make your stay a more pleasant one. Any one else who happens to read this please know that PPL is aware that prescribed medication abuse is a big problem. It is reckless to joke about. It is not a laughing matter. We absolutely guarantee 110% that guests do not have to be on medications to enjoy their stay here. Reference the vast majority great reviews left by guests.
