If you find yourself in Santa Monica area I highly reccomend the Palihouse! A quaint place for business or pleasure. Highly recommend getting a room overlooking the courtyard. Take a look around the building at some great design & style.
I was at Palihouse for 10 days and had really nothing to complain about. Nice rooms, friendly staff. There are no parking lots available, the valet parking (45$ a day) is expensive but efficient. I will definitly be back.
My daughter lives next to this hotel, so I initially chose it for location. Have stay here 4 times. When she moves, we will be hard pressed to find a more comfortable hotel with a more welcoming staff. Every staff member from check in to barista, housekeeping, to valet were committed to hospitality. We love this hotel,
We travel a lot and were so impressed by the quality of the staff and our stay at Palihouse Santa Monica. We chose it partly due to a recommendation from friends in LA and it did not disappoint. Our only regret was not staying longer! I could have totally moved in :)
Loved the hotel décor and the staff were so helpful with any questions we had. Lovely sized room and very clean. Location was good as nice and quite but not to far a walk to the town where there were plenty of shops, bars and eating places. Would stay again if ever visited the USA
A property much different than the sterile boxes of the chain hotels. Excellent food, staff and service. There is no AC which is no problem climate wise with the windows open but we had a street level room with people talking on the patio. Good location for walking Santa Monica.
Everything was easy from the beginning until the end of our stay. Staff were super friendly, food was very good, perfect location and amazing decoration of the rooms and the hotel. I would stay there again and will obviously recommend it to all my friends and family.
PaliHouse is not like a regular good hotel, we really enjoyed the personal service, the lobby that feels like a living room and the beautiful, spacious rooms. We arrived end of October for a three days stay and came back e few days later for a long weekend. What else can we say....
I hate to review this place because I want it to stay small and intimate and my little secret. You will not find a more home-like feeling when away from home. Small, quiet, and super chic. I could have camped out all the day in the lobby but was too busy having fun outdoor in SaMo. Will definitely be back. Loved it. 5 stars.
Hotel was beautiful. Room (103) very nice. Comfortable bed. The noise from guests next door and outside in the morning at breakfast time was loud and aggravating. The adjoining door by the main door to my room let the neighbors’ conversations through to the degree that it was as if they were in my room. Akso could clearly hear the conversations outside at breakfast even after getting out of bed and closing the windows.
