It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. The manager Louis was amazingly outstanding and treated so well I can’t even begin to explain. He made sure our needs were met and he went above and beyond fin making sure it was a memorable trip for my daughter. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Clean comfortable and very cozy.

This hotel is wonderful! Friendly, cozy, comforting and comfortable....beautifully decorated and in a building with so much character and charm - I loved it!

I don’t even know what to say ..just the most remarkable hotel I’ve ever stayed in ..I’m not sure anything can compare

The coolest hotel we’ve ever stayed in! Has so much character and history. Definitely will stay here again next time we’re in Santa Monica!

this is a nicely restored hotel in a great location. I just wish they had added soundproofing and gone for different carpet in the halls

This place is great. It is in an historic apartment building from the 1920's and it has a great feel to it.

Loved the atmosphere and decor, very friendly and accomodating staff. The only thing lacking for the price was no a/c, a standing shower for the classic room, and valet is not complimentary. The knob for the sink was sort of broken and the tiles on the floor of the shower needed some work.

Not sure why this is a three star...should be 4.5. Basically an renovated mansion turned into a B&B. My room was a fully furnished apartment ( living, Kitchen, dining, BR) with beautiful artwork and furniture. Huge door sized windows overlooked a beautiful front yard and garden. Free bicycles were also available. Two blocks from the beach, clubs, restaurants, and shopping. No liquor license at the time I stayed there FYI. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - VERY Romantic.

The hotel counter receptionist was very amiable and professional. They made us feel sincerely welcome and valued.

We loved everything except the parking for our car. We found it almost impossible to locate a parking spot close to the hotel. We received a $64 parking ticket the first day of our stay because we were told that we could park anywhere on the street with no penalties by using the tag they gave us open arrival.
