The Motel 6 is a fine accommodation but there are some things to be aware of when you book. First, there’s very little amenities, no shampoo, bar soap that can only be described as stale and no hairdryer. All of that is fine but the room floor was sticky and had chips on it. Also, there was no do not disturb sign so be prepared for housekeeping even if you didn’t want it. There is some parking which is nice if you have a car but if you are Ubering you have to leave the compound to get the Uber. They are two busy streets so you have to get in quick otherwise you’re going to get honked at. The neighborhood is a bit rough, a lot of unhoused folks including on the benches out front but never saw anyone in the compound. But we thought LACC is walkable from the Motel 6 and it really wasn’t. If you are a light sleeper be prepared for city noise to be a bit loud. That’s no fault of Motel 6 though. Overall, it’s what you see is what you get and inexpensive.
