Love my entire stay. Staff was outstanding. Location and price were perfect for visiting LA. Would stay again.

This hotel is a gem, from the rooms to the staff. Everyone is super kind and understanding. We got there way before check in time and they allowed us in our room early. Family friendly and the location is perfect. I would definitely stay there again, no doubt!!

This property is very interesting. It seems that in the past it was an exclusive place to stay. The room is as big as an apartment. It is true that some parts of it may need some TLC, but they didn't bother us because it was comfortable and clean. And the customer service is premium. From the champagne flute with sparkling lemonade, hot cider, and cookies at check in, to the free snacks, soda machine, and ice cream machine for the rest of our stay, we had no complaints. The water in the pool is almost as warm as a warm bath. It was just a really pleasant stay. Also, Hollywood's Walk of Fame is just about three to four blocks away. Easily walkable. The parking was the only down side. We drive a Dodge Caravan and parking was stressful because the area is tight and there wasn't much parking. We did stay on a Friday. We went out for dinner later in the night and when we returned there was no parking. We were told there was nowhere else to park on the property. One of the employees' shift was almost over so she gave us her space. There might be street parking near by, not sure. The other down side was the noise. You can begin to hear traffic, people outside having breakfast, people upstairs, and the creaking of pipes early in the morning. The breakfast is more of a continental one, but it is thorough and filling. We craved staying longer. Try the popsicle hotline, it's a sweet little surprise.

Great location, nice staff. Sound insulation not great. We woke up to noisy guests leaving at 4:30 am both mornings. While that certainly represented inconsiderate travelers, it also demonstrated the lack of sound insulation.

Nice, clean, hotel near the sights in Hollywood - walking distance. Nothing posh or glamorous, but the free amenities available 24 hours were so worth it! Free snacks, heated pool, ice cream all available around the clock and $13 parking is a steal. We will not stay anywhere else.

This hotel is great, if you’re going to the magic castle for the night. The problem, is the morning, when you’re trying to sleep, and you can hear everything happening around you. Neighboring rooms getting cleaned, neighbors using the bathroom, people walking in the halls, people walking above your room, people talking anywhere in the hotel... that being said, it’s not completely unexpected, it’s just a bit too much for me. Everything else, I mean everything, is amazing. The staff are all very nice, there’s snacks 24/7, a small but accommodating pool, free breakfast, and WiFi.

We stayed here to be close to the Hollywood Bowl, where we were seeing a show. Hotel is adorable and accommodating. Staff is wonderful. We were handed a refreshing glass of lemon soda when we walked in, with a list of free candy available at the front desk. There is a soda machine with a huge variety of makwnyour own free sodas. In addition there is an ice cream machine from 2-9. Our room was a tiny room in the back of the hotel facing the road. So there was a lot of noise and unfortunately the hotel did not have ear plugs and I forgot mine. I will definately stay again, hopefully for dinner and the magic show.

Absolutely great for families. Improvements could be a better breakfast and an update of the bathrooms, but for its class it's great.

Great location. We love visiting the castle. Close to Hollywood attractions and hotels. Friendly staff. Nice heated pool. Free snacks are great!

Our family, (2 adults and 2 kids ages 9 and 12)just returned from 5 days at the Magic Castle hotel. The hotel is next door to the Magic Castle which is the "clubhouse" for professional magicians. If you stay at the hotel, you have access to tickets to see a magic show. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking to the Hollywood walk of fame the Chinese theater, tons of restaurants, movie theaters and more. The staff is super friendly and helpful, printing out directions and giving restaurant suggestions. They also give out candy and snacks, and have a soft serve ice cream and soda machines. The pool is small but heated. Suggestions are: better soundproofing in bedrooms, I could hear the man snoring in the room next to us, healthier snacks/food vendor/taco cart on site so the go to for kids isn't always sugar and better wifi coverage. Despite all that, it's a perfect family hotel. We would go back!

Looking forward to coming back at Christmas with my husband. Great place to stay while, visiting our son in West Hollywood.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The staff was incredible, wonderful and knowledgeable. They welcomed us with a complimentary with sparking lemonade. There were so many nice touches. The complimentary shuttle service was great. I loved the ambiance of the place and it was walking distance to many of the Hollywood sites. I was able to walk to Runyon Canyon and hike. The full kitchen was an awesome bonus. We would definitely return. I cannot say enough about the staff, such a warm and welcoming group.

Very comfortable little hotel just a block off Hollywood Boulevard. Clean, good bed and very roomy with a full kitchen. Felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nice little pool which is open 24 hours. We'll be back!

The staff spared nothing in making us at home from the moment we arrived until the day we left. They helped us with getting TV taping tickets, did our laundry (for free), gave free munchies at the front desk 24 hrs, and were unstintingly friendly. The Magic Castle was everything we expected for our 5 day stay and more. Extremely highly recommended.

Extremely family friendly and very welcoming staff.

staff very helpful with every request...would have preferred central ac instead of window units

The hotel was very close to Hollywood Walk Of Fame and the metro. It was fairly easy to visit Universal Studios as well. The staff was beyond welcoming: helpful, friendly and genuine. It was a nice surprise that the hotel offered customary snacks and soft drinks. They also arranged a free shuttle to a near by Asian restaurant which I highly recommend! Very enjoyable visit all together!

While a bit aged, this hotel surprised us positively in every aspect. From the arrival "Champagne" lemonade, to the free snacks, sodas and DVD's, to the exceptional pastries on the breakfast table, we could not have wanted. better. Little did we know when we booked it, how convenient the location was as well. We could walk to many sought out locations , shops and stores. Next visit we will definitely reserve a night at the Magic Castle restaurant and take in the show. We found out you don't need formal attire, just a coat and tie which you can get from the front desk. I understand the magic show there is one of the best anywhere. it is usually "member's only". Give this hotel a try!

Staff aims to please. It's a great place to stay. Only drawback is that parking garage is tight for a minivan.
