In May 2009 I paid this motel 2 nights for $113.00 until now, and on 9/17/09 it hard to believe suddenly this motel charge me 2 nights for $185. Only 4 months difference they over charge faithful guests $72.00. That is really a robbery and very fishy. Also this motel take 10 minutes to heat up the water to have hot shower. Every morning I ended up rushing to work because just wasted 10 more minutes to shower. I wish Orbitz tell this motel to upgrade their hot water system for shower, extremely basic need for human instead of this motel's owner took all the money in his pocket. The other very basic motel in L.A. I stayed have hot water right a way from shower and felt very good, and I really don't know about this one. The Hollywood Studio Inn does not worth the price on Orbitz website for its location which right next to La Brea blvd. and should be cheaper than $50.00 a night because of its dangerous location. I heard police sirens every night, you get the idea and very scary to go to details. Orbitz please talk to this motel to lower the price before guests have horrible shocking experiences. This motel is not even worth $50.00 a night. The Hollywood Studio Inn should lower their price to the cheapest, maybe $40 a night, before they can be qualify on Orbitz website.

Kind of grimey and suspect from the outside, and the office manager isn't very friendly, but the rooms are pretty clean (not spotless, but not disgusting either), and the locale can't be beat. I traveled there without a car and I could walk to Hollywood Blvd. or the clubs west on Sunset no problem.

Excellent deal which completed our wonderful trip to LA.

The Hollywood Studio Inn & Suites is right on Sunset and very close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The room was large with a king bed, separate bath area from vanity and had a mini-fridge in the room. The check-in staff was not pleasant and seemed annoyed and gave us a room closest to Sunset Blvd which was very loud and I had problems sleeping from the vehicles, yelling outside at night. The sheets had burn holes in them but I wasn't expecting much from this hotel to begin with. I would recommend only staying at this hotel if you can get a room at the very back.

I thought the area was great, but the spaceing was tight for cars, and it was hard to really pull into the lot, due to traffic. The room was nice. I thought the price could have been cheaper.
