This hotel is a hidden gem. It's a business hotel and I didn't know that when I stayed, however, something must have been going on in So Cal that weekend. It was the only hotel that I could find a room with a four day notice. The room was very clean and I had a balcony. The staff was impeccable! We arrived a bit late for the breakfast one morning and the restaurant host didn't hesitate to accommodate us! Location is lovely, the breakfast was delicious, so many options to choose from if your a vegetarian, vegan, etc. Very hard working staff. I would stay at this hotel again and again!

Super clean and well maintained pool and hot tub. Very nice breakfast buffet and hotel bar. Main drawback was lack of streaming options on the TV.

Doubletree Claremont offers a great value--neat, clean rooms; super friendly staff; very good on-site restaurant; well-equipped fitness center. Another plus: it's a nice 20 minute walk to the 5C campuses, or the hotel provides a shuttle ride down to the Village. I hope to stay here often for the next 4 years my daughter attends Pomona (provided there's room at this inn!)

Convenient place to stay, places to get groceries and eat are within walking distance.

There aren't a lot of good hotel choices in Claremont, so I was pleased to find the DoubleTree. It is conveniently located near the downtown area and college campuses. My room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. It seemed a bit understaffed, however, as the rooms around mine were still being cleaned at 4PM. The breakfast buffet (pay) was excellent and had very attentive staff. Omelet bar, GOOD waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, cereal - the works.

Stayed as part of visit to Claremont colleges. 2 minute ride. Suite did not have separate pullout couch only shortcoming. Great pool. Excellent outstanding breakfast.

The rooms and facilities are attractive. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room service food was excellent. The large television had a sharp picture (this should be expected but, surprisingly, some hotel television have fuzzy pictures and incorrect aspect ratios). My only complaint was that I could hear two men talking more loudly than might be normal in the next room until after 11:00. Happily I was up reading so it wasn't a problem. Many, probably most, hotels have this problem. I wish hotel owners and architects would invest a little more in sound proofing walls and ceilings when they build new hotels.

Most memorable was the gentleman at reception who juggled several tasks and still found time to meet all of our needs - even walk us to a side entrance to find a short-cut for our selected dinner place.

Great rooms, professional and attentive staff. They had all the little amenities one might forget if you pack in a rush. I appreciate all the small touches and attention to detail this place was perfect as a business traveler.

Was visiting Tournament in Claremont Colleges. Breakfast was not included in my rate and was double the price that I expected..... Not good value

very good hotel, quite and beautiful garden. Will come here next time.

Very friendly staff, great complimentary breakfast and clean rooms. Kinda pricy but I booked the day before. Wish the hot tub was open later.

My teenage daughter and I stayed here while touring Claremont Colleges and it was convenient, comfortable, and the right price.

I have not a single complaint. Being somewhat of a germaphobic, I actually looked for something/anything that could be identified as unclean or unkempt. NOTHING! Congratulations Doubletree. I talked with staff (I talk to everybody) and all demonstrated the best, and most genuine customer service!!!!

The hotel staff was very pleasant to deal with. Breakfast was awesome, the gym was nice and clean.

Loved the balcony/patio, location near the colleges (and Trader Joes), loved the cookies when we checked in, and appreciated the quiet. The tv offerings were above average; so were the toiletries. Definitely staying there next time we're in Claremont.

A regular kind of Best Western place but with Hilton prices. Pool area was nice, albeit small. Because we booked through an online booking site we were excluded from a good looking buffet breakfast, which was a bummer.

Horrible hotel. Loud people next to us and hotel staff did nothing about it. Epic fail all the way around.

Little freebies made experience very comfortable: e.g., wifi, USA Today, warm cookies at check-in. My only complaint was the cable TV--it was very basic and couldn't really find anything entertaining to watch without paying a surcharge. No movie channels, etc. Good location, great architecture with comfortable courtyards and pool area. Very helpful front desk staff.
