It was o.k. Kind of a sketchy area at night. Breakfast (powdered eggs) and coffee were subpar. Expensive for what you get, but good location.
A rather odd location, being that you have to drive through 2 other parking lots before you can get to the hotel. But other than that, a hidden gem, and an unbeatable price. Will be looking to stay here again when I am in the area.
Noisy. Too close to highway. Breakfast was good. Room was a little small.
Unless you're traveling with a family of small children FORGET staying here. Paper thin walls and screaming babies (like they're in the room with you). I was there five days and changed rooms three times. The first one because when I entered I thought someone had left the radio on; it was the people next door, and they were only talking. Next room overlooked the pool, populated from early morning to late at night loud parents and even louder children. Next room? The round-the-clock wailing baby.
Well kept property and the staff was very pleasant
We have stayed here before, the place is clean, good full breakfast (although this time food seemed to be runned out before breakfast ended), water, coffee and tea available 24 hours a day.
Motel was very nice, beds comfy and staff great! Breakfast was good and pool was perfect. Only complaint is that the carpets were VERY dirty, our socks were literally black from walking on it. Motel would be perfect if carpets were cleaned.
We stayed here before, this time 1 night. Room and bed were comfortable and clean. And very nice staff!
The hotel had very bad smell and the service was not that good.
Only really showered and slept in the Hotel, was volunteering for a SAE Baja Event and this place was the closest I could find to the track. The Jotels old and outdated, looks like it hasn't been changed since the 1970's. The Rooms are Dark and there is lots of traffic noise from Highway 5, they do have ear plugs if you need them on the night stand. All of this would have been no problem if the hotel was no infested with bugs, from mosquito eaters, earwigs, and spiders. We would be laying in bed reading and a earwig would just fall from the ceiling. I would never stay at this hotel again, it's honestly not that cheap and is pretty dreadful.
Located next to a freeway we should have known it was going to be loud they left ear plugs on the night stand. Needless to say no sleep was had. The staff was not very accommodating toward the situation. Never again
NICE OLD SCHOOL HOTEL,CLOSE TO EVERYTHING.HAD A MOUNTAIN FEEL TO IT!
My daughter and I needed a one night stay for an audition at Cal Arts. The double queen room was clean and quiet. My only complaint was that for the winter weather (even in California) we needed another blanket on the bed. Breakfast was as expected, cereal, bread items, they did have eggs and sausage. You could make your own waffle. I would stay there again if in the area.
The room smelled like a smoker had been in it and housekeeping had tried to cover it up with air freshener. The wall sconce burned out after turning the light switch on. I didn't bother to get it changed out bcuz the three lamps in the room still worked. The door had three locks that were difficult to secure and the door had to be slammed to close completely. The shower head was about 7 feet in the air, which was nice since I'm almost 6 feet tall, but it couldn't tilt downward, so I had to stand near the end of the shower/tub to get the flow of water on my whole body evenly. I stayed at this same motel over 20 years ago and it looked exactly the same inside this time around as it did back in 1996. I only stayed here again bcuz it was 5 mins away from a freelance job location that I was working for a few days and I was able to use some Orbitz rewards to make my stay affordable. Their free bfast was decent, with tasty do-it-yourself waffle maker, but their nasty fake scrambled eggs need to go! The only saving grace is their very friendly front desk staff.
I was sick and messed up the bed and they accomodated me and my stay. The room was spacious and clean
This hotel was pretty good for us to stay in. I had some doubts due to it being so close to the freeway. However, it was no problem at all. We could not hear the traffic from the room and our room was facing the freeway. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
No hot water, no towels of any size. There was an extra key lock on my door because the main one was broken. Just a very tired hotel needing serious updating.
Great experience, the only thing is the parking is limited if you get there late
The staff are awesome, very helpful, and very friendly. The heated pool was awesome and my two little ones loved it after a long day at the park. We just wanted a comfortable bed to sleep after along day with our kids at the park and this hotel offered it and more. The room was very clean and big for the four of us. The breakfast was really delicious and they had variety of food to choose from. Excellent service and staff. We are very happy we stayed at this hotel.
Hotel was in the middle of the colleges that we were looking at and next to six flags. Breakfast was good. Room size was bigger then expected.
