Best Western of Long Beach

Pleasant stay Long Beach convention at 40% cost of convention hotels. Good 5 minute shuttle ride to convention hall. Multiple breakfast options.

My experience overall was good. I was able to check in quickly, the hotel appeared to be well taken care of, the breakfast buffet in was good. My room was comfortable and looked clean. My only gripe would be the air conditioner was loud, like rattling when it was turned on so that made it hard to sleep. But other than that I had a good stay.

Very nice hotel, close to shops, beach and freways.

Everything is nearby. I would stay again. The breakfast and gym were good.

Traveling for business Great option Nice rooms Hot breakfast

Perfect hotel for the price and only if you plan not to walk around the area at night. I would stay there again- but would only use their shuttle or Lyft to get around- no more walks to king taco for me, the area gets sketch and you may have to dodge a few crack heads or transients- all in all ok place to stay and again the staff was great!!!!!

No extremely major complaints until the last evening...after a day out at the beach and ready to unwind...noticed a roach on the bed and another on the shower ceiling...took a deep breath and killed both...let front desk know and said they apologize and would let their supervisor know...mixed emotions as we left...up until then...would have thought about using this hotel again...now my family members have made it clear...not happening. This occurred in room 203 billed as the Suite.

Quick and easy check-in and check-out. Friendly staff. Easy-going. Affordable and a good spot to save some cash.

Picture of the front of the hotel is true, but this hotel is in a terrible part of town and you dont see that in the photos. You would definitely not walk around outside after dark or even in the daytime. Light rail is directly in front of the hotel. Rooms were clean but old and stains on the ceiling. Continental breakfast was fine. Would not recommended staying here.

This hotel is just ok. They don't have enough parking for everyone. Clean enough but the room had a funny odor.

Nice hotel close to the dock for carnival cruises breakfast was good

Pleasantly surprised, very, very clean. Odd setup with the garage, but that's the worst thing about it. We've paid more per night in various dumps within few miles and this is by far the best deal around. From now on we'll be staying here for our annual LB trip.

This is a nice hotel. I really was impressed with how spacious and relaxing the room was. If you are not used to major cities, it does look a little sketchy but I don't think it is that bad as some may have commented about. As long as you are aware that you are within walking distance from the residential part of Long Beach, and know the basic rules of urban living, nobody will bother you. I went for a walk in the immediate area on a nice late morning and was fine.

bed sheets were smelly. very dirty carpet. convenient location for cruise.

The employees were very polite and friendly. The Parking was was pretty tight and close together if you have a large vehicle, We stayed overnight before our cruise left the following day.

Some kind of noise like a compressor ran off and on every night. I Already had jet lag and couldn't get my sleep right and then this loud sound from the roof to contend with

Fair hotel in a bad neighborhood. I have stayed in some shady areas before but never with children. I was suprised that this hotel in long beach was in a poor location. If I wouldn't have had my kids with I wouldn't have felt so uncomfortable. This part of town was very dirty and run down. There is homeless people and we experienced lots of beggeres, even IN a local restaurant where we had dinner. The staff was pleasent, the hotel was clean and the breakfast was awesome!

Ac filter dirty and broken, and coffee was all decaffeinated please fix. Otherwise great staff and great stay.

Very run down. Power was out for 4 hours in the am... No help from anyone. My husband fell in the shower, cold water. They won't give you a key to the "pool" which is a square box by the road...they have to come and let you in with a key. our room smelled bad, the elevator smelled bad. It's by the bus station and light rail is in front of the hotel so there are people standing around all the time.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff was attentive. They were helping someone who had arrived earlier, but acknowledged my presence and checked me in as soon as they could. It took me a few attempts to unlock the door with my room key. The housekeeping manager happened to be passing by, saw me with my hands full of baggage, and offered to help me unlock the door. My room was pre-air-conditioned when I walked in. It was refreshing after my long drive. Instead of small wasteful bottles of half-used toiletries, they had large dispensers of shampoo, conditioner (yay!), and body wash attached to the shower wall. They also had large dispensers of hand soap and lotion next to the sink. It was great to be able to use as much as I needed, and not worry about wastage. The shampoo and conditioner smelled great. The lotion was effective, not the cheap watery stuff you get elsewhere. The bed was very comfortable; I slept deeply. They have a yogurt machine in the breakfast room! And the waffles were cute - they have a Best Western heart on them. I had to eat one just for that reason.

We are centrally located, the metro station is an addition to the convenience of staying with us at this metro rail connects Long Beach and Los Angeles from where you can transfer and visit Hollywood. The hotel showcases pictures of the product we have provide.
